Recieved my Th 400 rebuild kit today from your side of the pond.Jeez i am going to be a busy chap soon.New IP and injectors and rebuild the tranny.

Recieved 2 new door mirrors and some grill trim and guess what....Made in Taiwan.Aint nothing made in the States any more???..lol

Remanufactered IP pump and Injectors arrived the other day from your side of the pond.Now all i need is warmer weather to fit them.

I have a new relay fitted as well.I did have a set of swellmans fitted about 5 years ago from INDYUSA they worked well but didn't last long.One after another they threw their hand in but not one of them were swollen.

I had a set of Bosch they must be about 6 weeks old.I always had to cycle twice to start.This week i have put in a set of 60's in now i only need to cycle once.I checked all the Bosch ones after taking them out with a meter and they are still good.

Many thanks.I should have look up the page myself (duh) So it's either dirty connection in the fuse box or the big plug on the engine bay wall.

Any ideas why the 30 amp fuse would start to melt? Not the metal part of the fuse the plastic parts.My M1009 has standard lighting.No extras what so ever.

Ripped out a nearly new set of bosch glowplugs(had to cycle twice to start) for a new set of 60G's (only need to cycle once now):-D

I did read somewhere that as soon as the rear valve was faulty the military removed them and never replaced them as they were rubbish.My M1009 has none.

Repaired my my fuel filler cap flap.The bottom hole on the flap rusted away causing the flap to hang.Removed the complete flap,welded a piece of plate on it,filled it flat and redrilled the hole.Job done.

I had wellmanns,none of them swelled up but they don't last that long.Now running Bosch but have to glow twice to fire first time.I have a set of AC60's on the way from CUCV electric.

Right i was looking to buy a rebuild kit.I see there are lots of them at various prices.What should i look for? Some have this band and some have that band and some have none.

I know what you mean with mechanics.That's why none of my vehicles i've ever owned has seen a commercial workshop.Now a days all they can do is plug in a computer.Young mechanics don't think for them selves now.

I had relay chatter.So after reading a few related posts i changed the relay,temp sensor,rebuilt the L/H alt,full set of new Bosch glowplugs and swopped batt positions.The chatter is still there but not as bad.Pulled the glowplug card (it looks ok) sprayed in some WD40.Still a bit of...
