I was driving home last night and my headlights started flashing on and off. Today I found the headlight fuse half melted. I cleaned the fuse block contacts with crocus cloth and contact cleaner and replaced the damaged 25 amp fuse with the correct 30 amp. Works like a champ now!

It sounds like your batteries are weak. When the battery voltage drops amps increase which gets stuff hot. I think that's how it goes, someone will correct me if im wrong I'm sure. Plus it was a low of 13F up your way in Baaa Haaaba which is pretty brutal on batteries. Mind you I'm just...

That looks the same as mine. Didn't know there were differing types.

Check to make sure your relay is insulated from the firewall. If its touching it will be grounded and not function properly. This happened to me a few months ago, my insulators for the relay were worn out and grounded my relay. Also check your 2 IGN fuses on the lower left corner of your fuse...

You'll have to isolate where it's sticking. Disconnect the throttle cable at the IP and see if it's sticking at the peddle, the cable or at the throttle shaft like Rick suggested. If everything looks good then its internal to the IP and time for a rebuild unfortunately.

Rick, that looks great for sure. I took particular interest in your engine overhaul. I just aquired a J code from a civy duelly so I plan on rebuilding that. Was the black paint used on the motor anything in particular or just stuff you had laying around? It looks great either way! Keep at it.
