Use the drums until you have money for an up grade. They work by air over hydrolic because the 465 ldt doesn't have a vacuhm port to prove boost for the power brakes. Other than that, they will work with a upgraded brake master cylinder.
It looks like a very simple thing to build. any glass guy can put in the glass, just make the frame out of 10 Gage steel and bring it to him for the glass. make sure to drll the plate and the frame for it first, and then mount and enjoy.

i have seen the tire slid under the rear end and aired up. if the ring comes off, it will just hit the underside of the axle housing. in a pich, this is ok, but if you can, use a cage.
