Thinking about ways to transport hot (275°F) used cooking oil from the restaurant. Question: Can the Mermite box handle that temp and what's the approx volume?

The light switch on my 757 has no locking feature, the upper and lower left levers operate without the need to use the 3rd , locking lever. The switch appers to be original installation with no signs of tampering. Question: Does anyone else have a light switch with the locking lever disabled?

The LDS465-2 engine was designed for more power and higher goverened speed (rpm), one modification was the addition of a 5th piston ring, anybody have an educated opinion on its purpose? Guess it would keep the piston better aligned...or is that not a problem?

Scotchbrite takes the oxide off for a good finish. :-) Is there a chemical that will do the same, for the little details and crevices?
