Every vehicle I've owned (except my landcruiser/deuce) has been a 70's/80's Chevy. At one point I had 7 of them. Was just trying to be a smart ass, and I'm looking at 2 m1008s right now for a grand total of 3200 bucks, but both need some body work, and one is a hard starter.
I've been running almost 100% wmo since Feburary and I only get a slight bluish colored smoke, and a big puff of black right when the truck cold starts. Other then that, the hardly any smoke.
For this winter, I have 165gals of stale racegas (been sitting for almost a year) that I'm going to...
I was planing on going to the sand dunes one of the weekends in NOV. Was wondering if anyone else wanted to go? Ive taken my deuce to sand lake many times and other then 1-2 hills, they can go just about anywhere out there. Its about 2 hours by deuce from Portland. I normally take my cruiser...
6'2" 350 here. I only have a tiny bit of belly rub, and I dont have an issue with the clutch. I normally only use the clutch when m taking off from a dead stop.

If I owned it, Id def change the tires and color of the rims to black
The other thing I forgot to ask, Does anyone have experiance running the 14.5/11r20/15.5 XLs, 395 XMLs or 11r20 T831s at low pressure for extended use the sand. My landcruiser uses radials in the sand @ 5-8psi, but I'd suspect that BFG Mudterrans are a whole other beast compaired to the much...
As much as I drive my truck, Im replacing my NDTS about every 6 months on the front of my truck. I need to get a good set of radials and the ideal set up for me would be 14.5xls in the front and dualed 11r20xls in the rear. As I'm keeping my options open and not apposed to supersingling out, I'm...
Try a little heat, I had a lugnut on a 105 axle I broke 2 1/2in Snap on breaker bars on. The 1in impack couldnt budge it, 30-40 seconds with an acedlin(sp?) torch and the impack took the nut right off, only damage was to the paint. Nothing a rattle can didnt fix.
