I think I've seen a picture on here with chains on 1 rear axle. Rear rear I believe with another set on the front axle.
They may have been 14.5s, not 100% sure.
Anyone else having a problem with the extra pictures in a classified ad not popping up, but instead about tripple the length of the page an appear at the very bottom? Ive tested it on 2 computers with 2 different ISPs and its doing it on both of them. Just wondering if its me, or are others...
This has been happening with my deuce for a while now. Some times it will be run down the freeway at 55mph with hardly any petal, and some days on the same stretch of road, I Have to keep the truck pinned to maintain 50-55. This happened before and after I replaced my fuelfilters. Just to be on...
You have the newer OD tranny, They turned the old 4th gear into a new 5th OD gear, They just left the old 5th the same and turned it into 4th.
The dash plate is probably for the old direct drive tranny. Also can you float it into 3rd or double clutch it? Sound like the syncros might just be...

Another thing to do, is put between 1000-2000lbs of gravel/sand in the bed of the truck. Helps the tires get traction, and you have an abrasive so if ya do have issues, you can shovel some under the tires.
Gotta love the look of the peoples face in the drive thru windows.
Fortunatly all the drive thrus around here are all over 9'6" so I can fit even with the bows on.
I has my deuce in a mud bog over the weekend, even with the stock NDTS the engine couldnt turn em in 4th lo. Dunno how well the truck would turn46s or 49s.
I've always wondered how well they would do in a bulldozer. Id suspect they are overpowered for some smaller dozers, but I'm thinking of like a d6-ish sized dozer it would fit good.
I regularly tow my landcruiser (about 5600lbs will a full tank of gas) and it pulls and stops just fine. Last weekend e went firewood gathering with the deuce, I had 11,450lbs of wood in the truck, and was towing a triaxle trailer with trailer brakes with a total weight of 14,000lbs. I was in...
