    CUCV-II, South Florida Rebuild

No doubt! There are some people out there putting down some pretty big numbers with the Navistar block, so I'd say it would be nearly bulletproof tuned to near stock settings.

Navistar casting! That's a nice upgrade. I wish there was an off the shelf truck pan availble for the newest GEP P400 6.5, but the Navistar block 6.5 will do just fine in your truck!

Making the most of a stock 6.2

Ditto! I highly recommend Lizard Skin. It is the best I've found. They come in 2 gallon buckets, and allows you plenty to do both the top and bottom sides of the floor. LizardSkin 50115 - LizardSkin Sound Control Insulation - Overview - SummitRacing.com

    Bought a M880!

Thanks guys! I am definitely going to do the GA Rally this year. We had a house fire, so I had to miss last time, but lord willing, I'll be at the next one. I was up towards your way yesterday in Rome picking up a M715, and would have liked to have swung by your way, but I had to get back...

    Bought a M880!

OK - this is getting ridiculous - green iron addiction has grabbed me hard! ARDEUCE had this truck, and the price was fair, so I brought it home. The truck is showing 10,3XX miles, and I believe it is correct. The pedal pads, steering wheel, and armrests are not worn, the door bushings feel new...

    I bought another one!

Sorry, but I didn't have any hinges or tailgate parts for my other one, but I will be glad to get pics of the hood light for you tomorrow. I think the outer guard is bent a little on it, but the light is in great shape.

Black Ice Driving - Atlanta area

I hit a patch North of Atlanta headed to Rome, GA this morning that appeared to be water, but it nearly turned my trailer sideways. I was accelerating up a slight hilll and the rear tires broke loose when I hit the spot. It was several degrees above 32, but it very windy, and I guess maybe the...

    I bought another one!

Kbarrell had some parts that I needed for my 715, and ended buying the whole thing! - well at least half of it. I needed a good tailgate and a top, then found out it had near perfect bed, doors, a fair hood and a decent windshield. It also had the hood mounted driving light, rear bumperettes...

    m1009 blazer 25mph @ 8% grade

I can't find any good pics to show those wanting them, but below is a pic of the IP, and the 3 bolts are located here. Just imagine the pump with lines coming off the back and the bolts are going into the backside of the from timing cover right behind the oil fill tube. It works best to use a...

    Scored a M101A2 from GL!

I'll probably end up with a M101A1 too, to drag behind my M715.
