I'm in the Portland area, but don't have any of the parts you need. :(
If you're coming down to Portland, may I recommend seeing if Idaho Motor Pool can help you out with your needs? They are not *that* far from Portland (400 miles up I-84) and they do carry a bunch of piece-parts.
If you're...
My power steering project will utilize a 5 ton steering wheel. However, I am installing a real hyro power steering unit, so effort will not be an issue and I don't need the mechanical advantage that the larger wheel gives you.
Saturn Surplus has the pullers for sale...nice units for a decent...
Will, here's a few pics of the one I saw at the 2008 MVPA convention in Portland last summer:

What route are you taking back?
I would recommend a more southerly route this time of year. I just came back from Denver on I-80 and I-84 to Portland. Clear roads and not too many big passes. I would avoid I-90 right now...probably still snowy up there (I know Portland and Seattle might get...
Assuming you average 50mph, that's 16 hours of driving the first day....actual driving time, not stops or resting.
I would plan on 12 hours a day and pace yourself. I know that driving the 450 miles back from Idaho to Portland was exhausting enough in my deuce (did it in September...hot!)...
I have one of these on my Ford:
QuickOilDrainValve.com - the best way to change oil (this is the same as "Futomo" valves)
Should be easy to adapt one (or two) for the deuce (what size are the plugs again?).
Makes for nice changes and you can 'stop' the drain at any time quickly. I have...
Outstanding work! I will draft up a letter to Mr. Welch directly thanking him for his time on this matter.
I could not be more pleased at the progress being made here.
Call Alex at Idaho Motor Pool. I know he has a few fiberglass hard tops left...
He may have some of the other stuff you need (I doubt he will have a winch).

Plus it will take about 1/10th the time if you take it to a pro...they tend to have the good equipment. You'll be blasting forever with that small gun.
Also, remember that you need to wear eye and lung protection when using glass blasting media (especially glass!). Save the glass...
I don't like posting pics to SS because of the size limit. If you go to my PB links, and click on the pics you will see they are like 6MP in size...lots more detail visible.
February 7-8, 2009 M-29 Weasel recovery: Portland, Oregon to (near) Redding California.
OK everybody, let me fill you all in on my recovery trip for the Weasel yesterday.
First, I would like to thank my friend Vern for helping me on this little trip...I couldn't have done it without him. I...
Gringeltaube is very informed on these sorts of things, I would listen to him.
I was not trying to start controversy. The post directly before mine asked if anyone new the dimensions of the XL tires, and I was posting a link to the thread where that was discussed. I even pointed out the very...
