    Deuce stock copper fuel lines

The line from the primary to the IP is copper to about 12 " from the IP and then the military used a short hose with pushlok. All I did was make that line longer and eliminate fittings and copper line. most of those lines lasted many years. I have been using the stuff for years here in New...

    Deuce stock copper fuel lines

I get rid of them as the leak or break and change over to pushlok . They make jic fittings for direct conversion. Much easier , cheaper and from my experience more reliable.

Doing LDT 465 water manifolds, are bolts in the water jacket ?

Crap, I used anti seize. I stuck a pick in the hole and they didn't seem to be drilled into the water jacket.

Doing LDT 465 water manifolds, are bolts in the water jacket ?

Hey need a quick answer. Doing the water manifold hoses. The 6 bolts on each manifold where the go in the head, are they wet or dry ? Holes look like dry holes but bolts corroded like wet holes. Was gonna never seize them unless they need sealer.

2017 mta spring show april 22-23

Ok, some big things I can bring for sale... 800 series hood. Has rot in front but straight. I don't want much for it and would rather see it go to someone who needs it than scrap yard. Make me an offer reasonable enough to warrant bringing it. 900 series air cleaner assembly 100$ m818 fuel...

Possibly a cucv over charging issue ?

Thanks for the replies. I have worked on a lot of 24v equipment over the years which is why that seemed high to me but after re reading the stickie and the replies here I think I have a better understanding. It seems each alt charges a specific battery so not a true 24v system and the combined...

Possibly a cucv over charging issue ?

Changed pass side alt. No difference. Grounds on intake are clean and both batteries are brand new. I'm gonna try swapping the drivers side alt. If that doesn't do it I'm gonna convert it.

Possibly a cucv over charging issue ?

Ok, the plot thickens. If I start the truck without giving it throttle, gen 2 is lit and the truck is not over charging and the clicking is coming form the glow plug solenoid . If I race the truck up a little, the gen 2 light goes out, truck resumes overcharging and glow plug sol stops going on...

Possibly a cucv over charging issue ?

Ok gen 2 light was just a bulb but now I see that something is clicking under the dash and causing it to charge normal then over charge when it clicks back and forth.

Possibly a cucv over charging issue ?

I usually convert these things to serp belt/12v but was gonna keep this one stock so the slave could run a robotool. thing is I have owned a few cucv's but this is the first one I ever saw a 18-32v gauge in. It shows around 29 volts which to me seems too high. i put a quality meter(only use...

    Air pack rebuilding question

I did replace the shaft seal and the hydraulic valve was actually pretty clean but I will re inspect it. really the whole unit was very clean inside except for a little crud on the air piston itself.

    Air pack rebuilding question

I have to dissemble it again but I believe this spring was missing when we disassembled it and I did not put one back in for that reason and must have missed it when I looked at this diagram. I wonder if this would be causing it. It's possible this was rebuilt already once and it was not put...
