What is the core made of? The heat radiating zig zags look to be brass but the pipes look like steel, they don't look like aluminum but I don't know for sure.
If I can make it work cool, and I also thought the same of LED but these are specifically marked 12V, also funny note they where made for military as the wires are marked 16/17/18 for the correct hook ups.
Well I got really excited then really miffed in the span of a day....
I received semi-new Truck-Lite LED headlights for the Deuce, they fit perfectly and only thing I have to do is solder in military connectors. Sweet right?
Nope these are the 12V only version of the lights..... Oh well I'm...
I went to a car show and showed off the deuce, I love going to the local car show because I get to talk to the old soldiers about their experiences with the truck.
Well long story short I met this old retired CW3 that wants to build a M1009 clone, and now I'm finding him one to use as parts...
Well I wanted to put a handle on my hood, so I took a frame handle off, stripped it and painted it.

Then I added a tool box lock and latch, total cost to get my tool box back and able to secure my BII $5.
I could throw up all the pictures from her rebuild and upgrades but I'll list them instead and throw up some PR pictures instead.
First let me say that I haven'tet the person that doesn't love old Marauder (My deuce). I take her to a local car show every month, not because I'll win but all the...
My M35A2 has come a long way from a beaten down brushfire truck to her now standing glory. She took me a year to get from start to finish, I had a company start the work but a lot was still to be done. With help from other members and friends she now stands fully restored and even upgraded a...
I don't remember the TM/TC off the top of my head but I'm pretty sure in the restoration section of this site they have a few different versions. Anyway the TM/TC has the exact color and making schems and stencil markings. Also also I'm pretty sure there I've seen pictures of some wild painted...
I recived my Military to Civilian adapter! Steps from 24VDC to 12VDC and goes to a 7 prong or flat 4/5 connector. I am happy another FMV guy made this so I didn't have to do math and shade tree mechanical engineering to make one!
