Well today I ran through everything on the Deuce, fluids tires, lugs etc. I have two parades this weekend so I want everything to be great.
Well I filled up half the tank and oh man Diesel is killing me right now at about $3 a gallon.
If the safes are on there back it won't matter much, the plan was to weld a plate under the bed that is welded to the frame/ bed supports to keep it from breaking the bed. Now a trailer is probably gonna happen as well. Yeah I have 12' of bed space but not a lot of height in there with the cover...
Something that can pick up and swing a 600lb safe into the bed, jib crane seems like the ticket. Unfortunately most of them for bed mounting have horrible reviews.
Well I replaced all the seatbelts with a brand new kit for a 5 ton from Fuzzytoaster. I painted all the troop seats and cleaned her up for the Veterans Day Parade. I also installed a cb antenna mount for a fire stick antenna. As PCS season is half a year away I still feel under the gun th figure...

So my tool box on my M35A2 doesn't really lock anymore as the holes on top of and bottom of the latch are wollowed out bad. Has anyone fixed this or know where I can find a new door?
Or... Attached a different locking system?
Today thanks to fuzzytoaster I mounted new seatbelts ment for a 5 ton. They fit great and make it so I have three belts in the cab.
Note: you may not know who put in the original seatbelts in your truck.... So a impact wrench is needed sometimes...
Well I got troop seats and a bow kit from fuzzytoaster, I cleaned em up and painted them 511 black to go with the current black green paint job I have going. Tomorrow I'll cut down the stickups and put on the cover I got.
