I got a gallon I am getting ready to paint Sunday. Any tricks ? Is the stuff decent ? I could not find anywhere a civilian could buy real CARC paint and from what I saw I am not equipped to spray it safely anyway. Any pointers/opinions would be great. The Olive drab I got from them was a bit...
I'd say even a 6 inch lift. I have a 4 inch lift and 35x12.50x16.5 and that is about it without cutting fenders which I won't do. In fact, I'd go as far as to say with 14.50s I'd probably hit.
Around 7 is considered ideal for a DB2. Much more than 14 and your advance won't work correctly from what I was told by a rebuilder. I am running an Airdog on mine but that is way overkill and not needed.
If you choose that route, the fittings on the LP are metric oring seat. You will (IIRC) M16x1.5 oring seat male to JIC then you can go whatever from there. I like Pushlok hose myself...
Here is the part I generally use to upgrade to an electric LP. Mods, if it's not ok to post this lionk please let me know but I don't "think" it competes with site vendors.

The other downside to Mech LP's is occasionally they like to take a dump and fill the crankcase with...
AFAIK Civilians cannot buy CARC paint. If you find out otherwise let me know. Closest I fond was Milspray and the stuff does not have the CARC agent which is really a shame as it saved my truck from rust. You need a suit to spray that stuff anyway. It's really hazardous.
I would not have even wasted my time putting a mech Lift pump back on. Toss that junk and put a stock LP for a 93 K3500 6.5TD. wire it to the power for the IP via Sol. You will be alot happier. If safety is a concern you can wire in an OPS via a T.
I would think 4 inch is more than adequate since most 6.5 TD's Dmax, PS, Cummins run them. In fact I would go as far as to say even 3.5 inch would be enough. I used the 5 cause I had it laying around and it was easy to make the Y pipe.
Time was not the issue, practicality was. It makes no sense to spend money on something I am going to rip back off very shortly. When I put the turbo on it will require something custom made and I will send it out for that as I cannot bend 4 inch ex pipe. It does not leak, just not the prettiest...
The pass side one on my 1008 fried last week, I mean smoke pouring out of it. I got water in it while powerwashing(a no no with an isolated Alt). What ever you do don't get water in one, it was not pretty.
