    CUCV to the rescue..

No. Problem was I had already got the whole dug when I bottomed out so the machine was stuck on the bellypan and there was nothing in front of me to push against.

    CUCV to the rescue..

They say these CUCV's are bad azz off road and I believe it. The family cat passed away today(it was her time) and of course it's nothing but mud out, snowing and the ground is too hard to dig by hand so I was trying to dig a hole with the skidsteer and buried it to the belly pan. The ground...

Help. Need glow plug removal tool cucv

wellmans are prone to swelling. I have heard alot of horror stories about them in the 6.5 forums I belong to. I only run 60gs. 2x on the junkvee. If they are 24 what you describe is exactly what will happen. Some idiot put 24v glows in my CUCV. And they wondered why it wouldn't start cold....:-x

Custom Plow setup for my CUCV

That's why I'm posting plenty of pics. Magnus, I couldn't find something to go over them exactly either so I used square tube the was a little wider but fit tight top and bottom since that is where It needed IMHO to be snug. There is no slop up and down in mine and the thing can barley move 1/4...

Custom Plow setup for my CUCV

You didn't have any trouble using the tie down bars for your upper did you ?

Custom Plow setup for my CUCV

Yeah I kinda knew that but.... It says it right on the spec plate. For lifting pallet or net only. They should still be strong enough for what I am doing. I am trying to design it so most of the stress is on the lower half.. If they break, I'll have to make stronger ones. More pics...

    setting timing

you don't need to pull the cover, just the filler neck. Pensacola diesel gets about 350$ for a reman. Their Ips are good, their injectors suck.

    4l80e from behind a 6.2

Yeah I'm leaning towards it. Less electronics the better

    4l80e from behind a 6.2

Like I said, I have not seen everything either. I'd go with the compushift if funds permit. Much simpler and more control over how it shifts from what I have heard. If I ever do it I'm going that route but I'm still on the fence with just doing a gear vendors OD. By the time you price out a...

    Two Freeze Plug Block Heaters?

I went by what it said on the NAPA site. I'm picking it up tommorow. One is enough here. Most we ever see is maybe -10/ windchill and that's rare.

    setting timing

IP timing on a 6.2 ? Very easy. Line up the scribed marks on the IP and the timing cover case and go from there. There is actually a timing light made by Kent Moore for timing these beasts but I have never had the pleasure. I usually start with the marks lined up and end up bumping it a slight...

    4l80e from behind a 6.2

Compushift makes a standalone controller which is probably the best way to go but it's pricey. As far as I knew only 700r4s or later know as 4l60e came factory behind a 6.2 but hey I havn't seen everything either. Just want to make sure your not buying a 4l60 in 4l80 clothing...:D

    Two Freeze Plug Block Heaters?

I have heard of it being done on 6.5TD and they are basically the same block . I would think it would work, just not sure which hole you need. I am in this boat actually this weekend as I am going to install 1 in my CUCV and I was under the impression you could put it in which ever hole was...

Custom Plow setup for my CUCV

Yeah the only reason I didn't do that was I wanted my upper to stay in it's current removable form so I can yank it with 2 pins and then slip my winch in it's place. If it wasn't for the winch I probably would have did what he did. it's good to see someone else used those lift bars and it was...

Custom Plow setup for my CUCV

Thanks, I pretty much know what I'm gonna do to finish it. Basically make the lower similar to the old style western fixed mount but the way I have this set up, you pull the pins and yank the hoop out and stick the winch in. The lights are KC Daylighters. Can be bought from Summit racing. I put...
