Welcome aboard,
Check the classified section under the resources button at the top of your screen, there is usually someone selling some on there. Last I checked Warthog had some and he's in OKC, but it's been a while though.
TM 5-6115-585-34 page 6-9 step "d" has the bench test procedure for the voltage regulator and the schematic diagrams for repair, however it does not specify any repair procedures, it only tells you to replace a bad regulator.
When looking at the schematics, keep in mind that they show two...
Voltage regulator is going to be kind of pricey, Why not run through the TM and test it, then see if you can repair it, or have it repaired at an electronics shop. The schematics are in the TM as well as a components list, so any decent electronics/TV guy should be able to help you out some...
Congrats on getting her running. It's always great to hear your hard work pay off when you get that engine to roar isn't it?
You may be a deuce newb, but keep going on projects like that and you'll know em inside and out soon enough.

They are finally done!!!!!!!!!
Well, today I finally was able to finish my troop seat project. Between taking a trip out of town for pleasure (visiting family) and taking another trip out of town for pleasure (Driving Mahdey's Deuce back for him) I was able to get back to it.
My seats were...
nhdiesel,
You had better check those filters you bought...to the best of my knowledge, the only filters that come with the proper gaskets are the two oil filters. The two secondary fuel and the primary fuel filter all have o-rings with them, but they are not the proper ones. The NAPA and Wix...
You'll be going through Columbus Ohio, I'm about an hour and a half East of there, so I can offer some help if you would like.
As to your plan, It sounds solid to me. Except for your time estimate. Unless this truck will do better than the rated 56 MPH. 1100 miles divided by an average of 50...
Frodo,
YOU NEED TO BUY AND SAVE THIS TANK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I were working and had the money, I'd be on the way to LA to look you up so you could show me where it's located!
Frodo, honestly, when the truck was under power, I couldn't even hear the whistle over the straight pipe roar, until I let off the throttle...then she screamed like a banshee!!!!!!!!
