if that set has the 4a032 engine on it, be wary of the new carb as well. The floats on them are foam and supposedly aren't made for gas with ethanol in it. It causes the float to swell and stick over time. There are quite a few threads about in on here.
I want someone who is tearing into one...
you can go ahead and do everything, but for better service I would do it in the morning when they come back into the office AZ time, and get on live chat right after you e-mail it in. Ask them to verify they got it, then you can print the chat and keep for your records in case they screw up...
they won't waste the paper to send you the letter if you weren't approved. GL probably hasn't gotten your stuff from Battle Creek yet...they still use snail mail I think
you do know, that you can just save the TM's to your computer and print only the pages you want to look at, at any given time...right?
Sure saves a lot of ink and trees that way.
while you're at it you might want to get the -24P manual too...it's the parts manual
If you can't find anybody who has the stuff, you can make a few of the things yourself. The cover over the connection box is just a piece of 1/4" fiberglass sheet, easy to cut and mount onto the"piano" hinge if you have the hinge...if not, you should be able to get the hinge at the hardware...
yes it does...if you follow the air intake, there is a hose that feeds into the shutter box to bring warm air into the intake on the cold winter days.
That brazed 45 you are talking about should have a standard 1" NPT thread on it, you can just use 1" pipe fittings and do whatever you want to...
The terminals in the second photo are called "Split Bolt" connectors. They are used to connect your main power leads from the generator output. The 110 volt receptacle is not big enough to handle the generators full output...plus that set is capable of three phase, those outlets are not.

there was a post not too long ago about the 701 battery and what size it was. I just can't remember what it was right off hand, but a search would probably reveal what you need. You could always get two batteries, some lawn and garden batteries would start it, and maybe even fit in the battery...
That letter is supposed to mean you were approved, and they are notifying you of your responsibilities as a demil b or q property holder. Scan the letter and e-mail it to info@govliquidation.com just as you get on the live chat and ask them to verify they received the e-mail, and ask what's...
did you try flashing the field after you had it running. It's supposed to flash itself when you start it, but sometimes you need to do it again. After it's running, turn the knob to start again, just for a few seconds though, this will flash the field and if everything else is in working order...
michigandon,
I want to see a better picture of that Yanmar in the background. What model is it? I've got an F175D. And I have a 5 ft tiller, that looks a lot like the one in your picture there, only not in as good of condition and red still
it's all going to depend on your load requirements...if all you are going to run is a refrigerator, possibly a deep freezer and a bunch of lights, you can easily get by with a 3kw set. If you want to run window A/C units, you need to step it up some. Central A/C, need to look at the full load...
The people who have the "roboimpacts" that the military uses seem to like the power they have.
A must have tool is the 3" 8 point wheel bearing locknut socket...I believe that it's the OTC-1907 socket. They are widely available from E-pay. Also, a budd lug socket for the rear budd lugs.
