obc,
If you are referring to the "clips shown in picture "A", they are NOT necessary, they are just there so the nuts don't get lost in the field, although there is really no reason to take the nuts the whole way off to make a connection.
If you are referring to the entire "split bolt" in...
You've got a better memory than my wife....she didn't even say anything when I told her it was in KS....LOL :-P
tmbrwolf, thanks for the offer, I'll let you know one way or the other.
Hey all,
I ended up winning a little diesel engine out of FT. Riley, KS yesterday, I plan on putting it on a pretty good sized air compressor I won on GL several months ago. It's in a small crate easily able to fit in the bed of even a small pick-up. I am hoping to find someone who lives...
Looking good Lex, I just picked up my "planks" yesterday evening from citizensoldier.
First off, I have to give a big thanks for Lex_Ordo, and to citizensoldier for helping out here. Lex did a great job as point man on contacting and digging up the information to get in touch with Stephan Wood...
A large scale one or set of 4 to 6 would work out really well. You'll need some heavy duty ones as a 1000# hunk of OD Iron shakin and a rollin would tear up smaller ones.
I'm with you on that thank you for citizensoldier, Sephirothg.
Sometime after Andy and Lane visited you they met up with me and delivered my headache rack planks that I ordered from Stephan Wood Products up in Grayling MI. Lane picked them up for me and carried them 1/4 way across the country...
I got the contact info from Lex, I called Frank at Stephan Wood and got a quote of $160 for the top 4, 12' planks for the headache racks (2 on each side), and a quote of $158 each side for the complete headache rack assembly minus the seats, all hardware included but disassembled on a pallet...
outcast, I was tyring to think of a way to do something similar with some sort of flow metering device or restricting device. That idea sounds like it has potential.
I was also thinking of something else...please someone who has a lot more experience with MV's and MV trailers tell my if I've...
FT if I were closer....
I hope you make it home safe and sound. Keep up posted, I'm sure one of the bama boys can give you a hand if needed. Good luck and God Speed
been using cereal boxes for gaskets for years. I can't remember ever buying a thermostat gasket...heck for the longest time, I didn't even know you could buy them.
I see the contradiction, but I think they are referring to gas fuel injection...they use the pressure created by the fuel pump to create the "spray". That's why the fuel pump in your gas cars produce something in the neighborhood of 60 to 80 PSI while pumping...the one you have shown only...
I like the award, that's pretty cool looking. I think 54reo and his dad deserve a big round of applause and a big [thumbzup] for doing such a great job in such a short amount of time.
Can't seem to beat the ingenuity of a SS member.
