1" Zero Rate to move Front Axle foward

dan - check the gap distance on your drag link. If it is greater than 1", you will not have to shorten one end. If it is not greater than 1", you will.

1" Zero Rate to move Front Axle foward

dan; I used ORD's 1" Zero Rates in my M1028 lift and moved my front axle 1" forward. Here were my observations - 1. You will have to drill a hole in each spring plate to provide clearance for the bolt that holds the springs together. 2. If you are not lifting the truck any higher, your...

    CUCV Hood stack

I want all my smoke and noise to be behind me. I can only imagine how loud that hood stack is. It would probably drown-out George Jones even with head phones on. C'mon Man!

    Restoration cost questions.

I would suggest that you first determine just how far you want to take it. The more in-depth and extensive the project scope, the more it will cost. The process will take one of two paths - either the budget will determine the project, or the project will determine the budget. If you have a...

    M1009 Vibration at Idle

Just got my new Fluidampr on, and the engine is a lot smoother indeed. I had slight vibration before, however I attributed it to my tires. Now I know that it was not my tires, but instead that 27-year-old harmonic balancer. Hope this helps.

    M1009 Vibration at Idle

    m1009 gauge installation

Skinny; I have a brand new HMMWV tach but like yourself, I can't figure out how to make it work, or where to mount the dang thang. I think I will post it in the classifieds and go with the ISS tach along with new HMMWV oil pressure and temp guages. Let us know what you decide to do.

    government liquidation question

And one other thing - when you go to pick up the vehicle on the base make sure you do not have your PERSONAL DEFENSE WEAPON in your possession! This happened to me last year when I went to retrieve a M101A3 trailer at Ft. Meade. I had forgot about having my PDW in my console until I turned off...
