When we have bad batteries in the LMTV/5t version and we do not want to use the military batteries, we can not replace with the group 31s like we do with other M series because of height and length, I have found that group 24Fs will fit tight without any cover mods and spin the engine over...

4 mpg is a bit HIGH, the -10 calls for 1.8 mpg, now that may be loaded miles BUT with the 500 hp DD WIDE open to get 45mph, the mpg will not be much better, with the five I recovered, the fuel gauge had a significant DROP over a 40 mile trip.

I would RESTORE it as it sits, would make a VERY NICE LOOKING truck, Besides, EVERYTHING that we can think to mod these trucks HAS been done on a NEED bases in the military.
