    Failed "U" Joint

Na, the GIMP only lays a truck on its side, so others can practice field recovery methods.

    Bent tow bar ears question

I would guess that after looking at it, that there is a very good chance of a crack in one if not both ears, right at the base, I would not use no matter what, it would not be worth the risk.

    Failed "U" Joint

The speed bump issue took place with a WELL RESEPCED moderator involved, but his name will stay a SS archived secret.

    Failed "U" Joint

The rears in our trucks being connected live WITHOUT a power divider work against each other, in turn causing a power drain, mpg drain. just for grins, pull #2 axles, drive for a while, you will see what I mean, but BE CAREFULL, you can get stuck on a wet speed bump (it has been done before)

    M1079 Right Front hub failure

According to the -10, you can ONLY flat tow a MAX. of 100 miles AND ONLY at 35 mph MAX., other wise the trans Will take a hit. The drop box DOES NOT have a natural, anything over what -10 calls for, BOTH drive lines must be dropped.

M1010 for my daughter the field biologist

For this operation, I WOULD NOT go to a m1078 or its variants because of the SUPER trick, crappy electoral system , and the crappy bumper which offers NO front protection, also the lower front skid plate offers NO protection for the lower radiator tank and the trans. cooler

    flotation tire's

Running duels on the front is VERY hard on ALL the steering components, steering box and mount, drag link, tie rod, lower steering arms

    M246

One thing to remember when doing lifts over the front is that you CAN over load the front springs, axle, and frame, the truck is NOT designed for over the front lifts.

    M246

The tracker/wrecker is 200% better doing lift recoveries then standard military wreckers, the 0NLY draw back is they are missing the rear winch, that issue on mine will soon (this is in MV hobby time) rectified, have everything needed just not done because of the LIST that seems to grow with...

M923 Air Brake Lines Accidentialy Switched

Are you calling the service brakes foot brakes, it help if things are called the right name, I am slowly training a friend this very principle. Take it to a DIFFERENT TRUCK shop, then charge the first one for the fix since the first one had NO IDEA what they were doing, AND next time call me...

    M246

I did not know a tractor/wrecker could look that clean, what ever you do DO NOT park your truck next to mine, I am afraid the clean will creep over to mine, I think you notice a major power lack with those big tires along with a very heavy truck, the heaviest of the 5 tons, and speaking of a...

M923 Air Brake Lines Accidentialy Switched

This makes NO sense, what "boosters" are you talking about, was the lines switched at the axles or each wheel, ALSO why are you driving the truck with he brakes in this condition, after it warms up, give me a call (703-389-6705) and I will go and put eyes on a 939 rear air line connections so...

M923A2 clicking sound coming from fuel tank

There is a one way valve in the fuel return line (supposed to prevent lost of prime) I believe this is what you here with the tank acting like a amplifier.

Anyone ever recover a BOH FPU?

You have to be kidding, it will not be a problem getting it moving, getting it STOPPED WILL be a problem, maybe stopping it slow will not be much of a problem BUT a HAVE TO STOP NOW WILL BE A BIG PROBLEM

    Knuckle boom crane on m1088

To bad you did not get the m1089 out of ATL/GL, it was listed as NON running but it was running, the only thing wrong was slow air build.
