If the delivery nozzles caused the idle issue then by all means replace them with the nozzles you removed. I have only ever had 2 nozzles fail after over 25 years of private use and they failed by leaking externally. I took all the nozzles I removed to a shop that tested them before I...
Barrmans way works but lately I have been doing the disassembly from the front and avoiding removal of the potato chip fragile cluster housing. Everything can be accessed and the bulbs changed and check before you reassemble and discover that 1 bulb that won't light after you spend hours...
When I seen IP I immediately thought Injection Pump. You are referring to the IC Instrument Cluster. I used 194 bulbs for years. My research below will set this issue straight. I had this talk before. Some guy told me the 194 was the temperature of the bulb and 168 was a cooler bulb. I really...
I can't prove it but you are going to have to trust me on this one. The stock system was thoroughly tested not only by the engineers at GM but by time itself. The last 6.2 diesel CUCV was built in 1987. That is well over 30 years ago. If you bought it and it was still running and needed repairs...

I really like the way it sits with the 4 new leaf springs. it really looks like new. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did when I bought it in 1996. New Mexico National Guard unit. All the numbers were painted over when I bought it. It was barely used. Good Luck.
Looks good to me. It was a long trip my Friend. That is all easy touch up. I expected worse after all the hands that went handled it. Thank you for the update. Enjoy. If you have problems with anything let me know. I will try and assist. Sending paint over is impossible. Thank you.
I work for a truck manufacturer and we build everything on demand. No more stock parts. Gone are the days of bins full of parts. They call it the KanBan system. Lean manufacturing. Avoids thousand of dollars in over stocked parts that may be obsolete before they are all used up...
I am thinking it could be the slides on the knuckle and the caliper. They need to be cleaned and polished and greased well so they can move in and out freely. they should be able to return to the neutral position as soon as the pressure is released. Remove them and replace the attaching hardware...
Sell the truck and get a newer gasoline truck. That will fix all your problems. As I got older I didn't want all the maintenance of older vehicles so I bought new every 5 years and never looked back. Now I work on hem as a hobby not a necessity. Good Luck.
Good one. But it will still kick in a charge with higher RPM's. I have an M1028 that I use as my hauler of unwanted things and it has no Gen light. Rev it up and it charges normal. Tiered of looking for the issue and it has never been apart and I don't plan on fixing it as long as it works they...
