I think the A2's came out without the big filter, over in the sand box they way to much problems with the little finline ilter pluging up. So they did a work order and added the big filter back to the trucks. I ordered one of the mounts that 5tonman1971 has.

You can get it from some retailers like Erik's' http://www.eriksmilitarysurplus.com/index.html You may need to check the trouble shooting in the TM's, you may just have a grounding or wire problem.

You just drive them out, but they can be a bear to get out.

You should see around 27-28.5volts coming out of the Alt. Check the voltage on the batteries with the truck off, they should read about 12 volts. If you have 27-28.5 coming out of the Alt. I would put a charger on the batteries one at a time and see what you get. Was your Voltage gauge in the...

You are over charging as said or your batteries have gone bad and shorted some cells. I would check the voltage coming out of the alt.

Well I got the troop seats done on the truck. They were a lot of work put on new wood.

Fleetfilter.com has it for $32 and if you buy $125 it is $29 and if you buy $200 it is $26. It pays to shop around for filters for sure.

The air compressor gets oil from the motor. I use Shell Rotella 15-40w in my trucks. I think the truck take right at 5 gal., but I would look in the TM at the lub order and see. You can down load the TM's from here on SS for free.

You may try moving them to the back and trying some from the back, but the A2's are bad about jumping around. You could look at getting them balanced, if you can find someone to do it. Not sure I would use the balancing beads in them.

I would think it is the tires, Balance, CTIS assy., ETC. What type of tires do you have?

My Insurance company is asking why I do not have all my trucks stored inside. I guess they are using satellites to check on us.

I would not drive very far like that. Do the tire have holes in them? Can you just air them up or replace them?

I did use the sleeping bag mat on my Deuce restore, turned out great.

I have a Deuce that needs the airpack rebuilt also.

Yes I did read it someplace in the TM's, But it was some time back. It may of been about the M809 trucks.
