Yes, see that's my issue. I am sure I can find a functional replacement (Echlin, BW, Bosch, etc.). Let's face it-a 60psi trigger point and 1/4" MPT are easy parameters to satisfy but I don't want a bunch of hacked of wiring under my dash where it's visible. I can live with cutting the harness...
I have had multiple (5 or 6) of the new, hydraulic style brake light switches fail by sticking shut (closed circuit). 4 on brakes systems and 2 on air. I seem to remember recently a thread where people were discussing the low reliability of the new (I assume their Newstar China junk) switches...
Covered here:

Many others, but that one is the most relevant.
EDIT: Since the above thread was derailed with arguing about merits of making MV's go faster, you can also read all these...
I forgot this thread. It should answer all your questions and provides some excellent pictures:

rtk said everything I was going to say. I wouldn't move that truck until I pulled all the hubs, replaced or rebuilt the master, flushed the brake system, etc.

I don't have pictures but I've moved 5K lb forklifts with my deuce.
Didn't fall though but definitely bent the floor of the bed in between the support trusses underneath. Would not do again without some way to distribute the load unless it was a truck I did not care about.
Don't know if I...
I've had several trucks that still had Douglas connectors left over from their early lives (I have a truck now that's obviously early-several Douglas connectors, remnants of the old 25A generator and external regulator, rear exit exhaust, etc.).
Short answer: middle axle.
Long answer: Like every other question, the answer is already out there: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?38371-deuce-transmission-disaster-(pics)
Gasser M35's are 5speed but with 1:1 fifth gear, no OD like the A1/A2 multifuel.
Square turn signal guards are from trucks purchased on the 1969 contract. Your truck may have had them or the entire fenders swapped.

I think it must have something to do with which version of Android you're running or something like that, because mine would bring up the add attachments screen and then not let you add anything. Haven't tried it since the upgrade as I've had Tapatalk.
So disgusting, just repulsive.
She would have gotten 100 times longer a sentence for smoking a little weed, but killing a guy in a gruesome and obscenely negligent way? Oh, just a few weeks.
