Got a buddy going to pickup a truck, he is not computer literate. He may need a slave tomorrow noon time. He doesnt have slave cables, but he does have jumper cables.
Location is City of Columbus storage yard, 4211 Groves Rd
Which cable did you trim? the 100 wire ribbon that the connector from the outside? the other screen control cable is the 8 wire connector that connects on the same board as where the power connects to.
Ahahhaha, it vurks.
it will adjust to full white and full black. 40-50 button pushes from full dark to full light. I dont know if my backlight switch works or not, the sun is too bright, will check that this evening when it gets dark.
Now off to town to see if I can fix the other machine...
Thanks. I am surprised that noone else has done this. The army way of building a tool was a good way to smoke a CIM because you have a chance of getting the wrong wires out of the 100 wire loom. My build is fairly fool proof even for a dummy like me.
I only have 2 available locally, mine which...
Talked with our local radio shack owner, he suggested a job box instead of waffer board and to use separate push buttons instead of a double throw. I thought it was good ideas, here is what i have so far.
Thinking i will get the test runs done tomorrow, then pouring potting epoxy so...
Going to start on the build for a tool to lighten and darken the screens on the 5/6B's. Finally got the cable from China
I am probably going to use a waffer board to backup, the terminals are open on the back of the breakout board. The pour potting material over the whole thing to dummy (155mm)...
that sounds to me as if the actuator isnt installed correctly. https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?145444-MEP-805b-806b-electric-fuel-cutoff-tm-troubleshooting-install-manual
the other thing to verify is that the WOT bolt is open far enough to let the actuator do its job.
I dont see where I replied about these K8 relays, my little research book notes are as follows
Type 668..... 956 type flame detector used
type 668().... 60 hz only
type 668(h).... 50/60 hz
type 668-(401-499)....safety shutoff time 15 seconds
(501-599)...
Its past time to start talking about heaters, if you attempt to start your heater, it fires and runs for 20-45 seconds and shuts down with the redlight of death, check the adjustment of the flame sensor. Its not a very skookum setup, looks like heat shrink with a zip tie holding the sensor so it...
I have been very happy with these little genny's, they just get knocked down and get right back up. The TM for the H82 heater says it cant be used on a 3K, I will have it tried out when it gets to MT. He isnt so good with video, but I will try to get him to get one.
Today was a cool but nice day to be outside so I thought I would take the opportunity to load test a 3kw, mep 016b, before it gets shipped to Montana. I have it set up running 3ph, 120/208 for the load testing
load surge to 6kw

Just killing some time this morning and thought I would check out GL make an offer event. There is some stuff there that we all would look at bidding on, there is a small catch, bidding doesnt open for 232 days. Yeah I am pretty sure I will have forgotten about it by then.
Does anyone have a...
My reasoning behind having the genny on a seperate ground rod, these are older military units that we dont know how easy or rough its life was, when these girls fail, they seem to fail catastrophically. I want all of those angry pixies to take their dirt nap as soon as possible without being...
