Since both the banks of batteries are hooked to the same thing, there should not have been any difference in the voltages. If you are consistently getting 26.9 on the first bank and 27.1 on the second bank, you have a weak battery in the first bank. And what has been posted about surface...
If the batteries are bad, the voltage out of the alternator will be high. Put new (good) batteries in and the voltage will be normal again with no adjustment. Disconnect the batteries and use a load tester on them, one at a time. If bad, replace.
Guys,
Check in with the Texas Lighthouse Charity Team to see if they want to show off their MKT's (they own seven) at one of your get-togethers.

Well, that number says it's a semi-gloss (the first 2), tan (the second number '3'), shade 070, or FSS 23070 in the competitive paints part of the paint mixing computers. Here are the steps: Have the paint people find 'competitive paints' in their paint computer and select it, then search for...
Actually, I did include the USA number on mine and it went through like a hot knife on butter at the SC DMV (It brought the VIN up to 15 characters, which their computer would accept for an older than 1981 vehicle). YMMV and every state is different.
There's a sticky in the Restoration/ Paint and Body Work forum that will give you some very useful information on paint. Bottom line there is Behr Premium Flat in FSS 34094 as the least expensive way to repaint your LR.
With the engine running or not? If not running, and you measured from terminal to terminal on each battery, you have bad batteries. If it was running, you are boiling out the front battery because the rear battery is bad.
Yesssss. They are all covered (and a whole lot more) on one of my thumb (USB) drives. Search for the thread "MKT Thumb Drive" and check it out. The current version has about twice the data as is covered in the attachment to that thread.
Thicker ones go in the bottom of the oven to make a chamber of heat. Bottom piece gets hot and then radiates heat into the oven proper. but it's a more even heat so your biscuits don't wind up as hockey pucks.
You are sooooo right. Only missing burners and the two ranges! First set #1 inverter, the rare slave cable power cord, and a fueling hose; #2 Recirculating fan and it's hose, roof jacks, 1/3 pan with gutter (used when two MKT's are butted together), the four straps and the fuel cans; #3...
Missing the M-59 ranges, but you have the big pots and the square-head pans (which are the expensive parts of them to replace). Roof is the original 12 vent style. Lots of the cambro food and drink dispensers, so a good score on them. Roof canopy has been replaced with the vinyl type (Green...
Since oil is made up of long chain hydrocarbons (READ: CARBON), you will need something that binds to carbon, but does not break any of the existing carbon chains. Good luck! That's why the 'big boys' simply re-distill it, sometimes call cracking oil. The resulting product is not just oil...
I think the "Big Boys" simply add it to the crude mix they have and re-refine it. A lot simpler that way, since it is only one process to think/worry about.
Get longer straps to hold the tank up. That was the experience of a couple of local fellows who did the mod last year (not me, so I don't have any pics, and they are not on this site).
All deuce clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearings are the same. Just go to Erik's Surplus and look them up. The thrust bearing is a standard large truck bearing that should be available at Fleetpride or any large truck repair shop. Don't try to make it more complicated than it is.
The one in Columbia, SC will be on April 5, 2014 from 9 am to 2 pm at the new State Farmer's Market. We are expecting to take five MV's for the event. Which reminds me, I need to do PM on the pantry truck (M109A3) so it's ready.
