Input shaft should be the same, depends on the installed clutch disk which can be speced for what ever needed ( coarse/fine spline, thin/thick shaft) bell housing should bolt to a 400 855 block, I would use the 400 pressure plate though think the 250 will bolt up. now all this depends if the 400...
CRANETRUCK did a rebuild on one of these plus a great write up, along with a internal schematic, you can use a 900 PCB on a 809, but NOT a 809 PCB on a 900
Don't see why a bypass can't be built with just a MASTER solenoid, there is no need for a oil pressure safety interlock, ect. the engine...
I am dropping my fuel button on my straight stacked, NON turboed m819 to 22, for a bit of help on hills, also going to in stall a pyro, I would think dropping to 10 would be a bit much even with a turbo, being that there is NO piston squatters, there is another thread talking about dropping the...
If you can not find 24.5s, look for 22.5s, I found used ones for the 819, just did not get them due to lack of $$$, any BIG truck tire shop will have used steel rims from people that changed out to aluminum rims.
This would be the best plan, ALL the 5ts use the same 10 hole bud rim except the bridge truck that uses a wider rim for the 1400x20 tire and the m819 that uses a wider rim for the 1200x20, ALL the 5t rims will bolt on all the 5t hubs as ALL have the same hole pattern
Sure would make a nice service truck, close off the side boxes, mount a #7 wrecker kit and use the rear winch with it, add a decent size welder ,air compressor and some tourches
Since I have had the m819 (7/04) the right one has been MIA , till I start driving the BRITSH way it may stay MIA, I have a new one, just not very high on my to do list.
From the pump and the return, there are 2 quick disconnects, the old screw type, if these ARE NOT completely connected and tight, they will NOT open the seats which in turn will not allow the oil to flow
If you have new hoses made, save the old hoses, the end fittings are REUSEABLE
No, everything was tight, though I can see how they could work loose, not many mounting bolts and everything wants to move due to the assets from the cylinder/piston
We got our parts from White Owl, make sure you have hyd. oil or you will burn up the pump, make sure the selector valve is working, It does not move much very easy to miss the movement, the steering shaft comes loose just above the selector valve, there is a seal there that is supposed to keep...
If the gear box is fill or mixed with hyd. oil, or leaking everywhere, the piston/cylinder assembly needs to be rebuilt or replaced, the output shaft seal is bad and forcing oil into the gear box.
the gear box takes gear oil, 1" below fill plug, we used hyd. oil, it is the same as 10wt, but has anti foam and anti corrosion additives for the steering reservoir, I would never run atf in a hyd. system.
