    Cab Latch parts/schematic

Definitely missing the screw on cap. You might try Suprman. He has had several parts trucks and might have the piece or a whole assembly.

    Working on the M1078 LMTV

Thanks! Next event for me in Austin will probably be February at the Boy Scout Parade. Beyond that it'll be in April at the Camp Mabry open house. Or you could come down to San Antonio.

Now would be better (if you're voting for me). My anxiety meds are getting low so I might not be coherent towards the end.

All joshing aside, I've driven and owned a number of MVs starting fresh out of Benning getting licensed on the M151, M35, and M113. I helped transition our Motorized TOW Company from the 151 to the HMMWV and spent 18 months as the Company Commander's driver in that. After Active Duty I...

    Working on the M1078 LMTV

Took her out for a spin yesterday and to top off the fuel tank. Everything seems to be working perfectly. I'm not sure when I'll get a long shakedown cruise but want to take it out for at least an hour fairly close to home to make sure it's tight. The next big event probably won't be until at...

    Fl Title & Tag Trouble

Time to move to Texas. FL used to be a decent place to live but then again that was back in the '70s when only half of NY and MI had moved there. Guess the other half must have shown up.

    Working on the M1078 LMTV

Keith_J came by this afternoon and we finally got things switched out. The trick seemed to be, for mine any way, to remove the wheel and brake drum to be able to get a good angle on whacking the ring with a drift. Keith had a nice 1" square drift compared to my tapered one so put more meat on...
