Your Battery Ammeter gauge is pegged all the way right, does it not zero when off? It appears to not be functioning properly as well.

Your machine lacks the quad fuse modification (addition of a fuse, inline of the voltage regulator). I would not run the machine again, till you have added the parts. If you look that phrase up by the search function here, you will find all the info you need.

Test twice in fact

Test for 24v with a handheld probe, see if you have voltage at both soldered wire sets on the fuse tube.

That FU1 is the DC fuse, if its not seated and the connection is broken, you aren't getting the power from the alternator, down to charge the batteries. Have you taken a multimeter to the pins on the back of the alternator, to see if you are getting 26-29V output?

Power went down about 450 last night, and came up at 8A this morning. 802 never missed a beat.

Had a microburst tornado roll through an adjacent town and the southern tip of mine earlier tonight. Total mess, both towns are down... trees down everywhere, roof collapses, folks stuck. 802 is humming away while I make dinner.

It certanly isn't the best methodology... but you also have to be cognizant of the fuses used. Sometimes folks take shortcuts in making the fix ;)

I personally would only use if the gaskets are not readily available, or in an emergency. Both the water pump gasket as well as pump to manifold gasket should both be readily sourceable.

Loosen the nut on the face of that panel (on the oil pressure sender side) and see if you can push that angled fitting backwards enough to get wrenches in. Only other option is to disconnect/remove the oil pressure sender assembly, loosen and remove that same large nut, and push out of the hole...

Do you have power at the gauges (voltage and hertz registering) as well as AC at the convenience outlet?

Have you removed the roof panel over the operator controls, to look at the entire area 'where the magic happens'?

Burnt grounds don't 'just happen'. I think that needs to be thoroughly fleshed out, before you worry about AC out. Would hate for YOU to become the ground.
