Was a little surprised to find this today in Joe's EZ pull in New Ringold Pa. Was hunting parts for the M1028A2s, made out well, cold weather is a good time for junkyard pickin'; hard ground and no wasps! If this is posted elsewhere my apologies.

Picked up a GSA M1028A2 truck today, maybe parts, but I'm crazy enough to put it back together, I think I have all the parts except a driveshaft. Note, I had to bring a tailgate, 4 wheels and tires and it has a bent front tie rod, no steering box, no doors, no engine, no trans, no transfercase...

Only took a week, its alive! (Last run in 1995?) It only needed: 1. new ignition switch (GM) (had to buy) and retainer ring (finally bought the tool for removal, $10.00 at Napa) 2. Needed One alternator(had), installed the other one left in the truck, fixed wiring for both. 3. Starter, one left...

Just picked this up today. 9,500 original miles, NP205, looks like new leaf springs and exhaust before they sat it out side. Won this on GSA for $791.00 on wednesday night. Needs alts, batteries, tires, glow plug card, seat, dash pad, but has what also looks like a new d/s and new transfer case...
