300hp in a Deuce, now that would be scary :o

Ok, I know people have turned up LDT engines to LDS power. I am wondering if the LDS can be turned up higher yet. If the pump timing and or pressure is different, and the rocker arms are different, I am thinking a cranked up LDS will be fun. I will find out when my gauges get installed ;)

I will put my 2 cents in. I have a LDS and just recently acquired a LDT. Both trucks have the C turbo. The LDS runs circles around the LDT. I don't believe the turbo is any real difference in power. Both trucks are still as bought from GL as far as fuel settings, and seem to smoke the same...

Curious the thoughts on that myself. I had thought of using that as well when burning off old gas mixed in the tank.

Look for leaking injection pump or brakes leaking or not working. Sometimes those two things can lead to costly repairs. If buying privately ask a lot of questions and find out if th e person did any maintenance and such after they bought it from GL. A lot of people buy from GL, don't do...

Just got a price from state farm to insure a M818 tractor and trailer. 900 approx a year, but that covers me to use it to haul for my business.

I did search on google and found a place, but don't remember the name of the place.

I had charging issues on mine. Turned out to only need a 6 dollar regulator and not the entire generator. Regulator is easily changed with out removing the generator.

I will certainly be watching this. I want to put a ring mount on my Deuce to mount my 1919A4 on. That would get even more attention at the range :)
