Gulfway will cover a Deuce, but not if you are hauling anything with it or pulling anything with it. The example given to me was, if you stop at Lowes and throw a few 2x4's in the back you are subject to not be covered at all.
Have heard people mention progressive and others. I know progressive said yes at first, but when I explained it was an ex military vehicle they refused to insure. They said they have a strict policy not to insure any vehicle designed for military use. I am sure there are people who have not told...
Exactly that. Historic plates and State Farm commercial ins here as well. Other cheaper ins will place a lot of restrictions leaving you uncovered if you ever need it, which hopefully none of us ever will.
Please enlighten me on Aberdeen. I am rather new to the MV scene and don't know anything about any meets. May be a good place to show off some class 3 stuff as well.
I have wondered this myself. I tried it with our minpin, and he loved it. Haven't let my rottie ride in it yet, partially because I don't feel like wrestling a 150 plus rottie if he decides he doesn't like it half way through the ride. Just for those wondering, mine is a whistler with a hard top...
Check out my page at midcountyguns.com for hours and directions. I haven't gotten around to properly setting up page, but all my contact info is on there ;) Will you be bringing the Deuce?
I'm not quite an hour from Salisbury. Have one Deuce, another on the way, a few trailers, and who knows what will be next on my list. I have a gun shop outside of Preston MD, and it's starting to turn in to a surplus MV shop now as well ;)
Last I looked at the news this morning, you guys were going to get the brunt of this one. Northern Jersey and New York were supposed to get hit the hardest. Sorry to hear about M818, would be a good time to have her going.
I have the heater end covered. It works rather well, to my suprise. Let it warm for a while before heading out, and you are good to go. I have a set of air wipers for my truck, but it was originally equipped with electric wipers, and I have been holding out hoping to find a deal on electric...
If you want more snow Bob, come over here to the shore. Hard to tell how much we have, as the wind has blown all day. I was going to take the Deuce out for a trip to the store, but thought I may regret it being I haven't got wipers on it right now.
Bought mine just because I always thought they were cool trucks, ever since I was a kid. When I found out they were available at such affordable prices, I did some research and bought my first one. Now I have two trailers in the yard, two more trailers and another Deuce waiting on EUCs. These...
Thumbs up for Justin. Met him when I picked up my trailer, and will see him again soon when I pick up my Deuce I won a couple weeks ago. I to was suprised at how light the M101 trailers are when you consider the payload they are built to handle.
We had a cold snap here that was down in the 20's for a few days. Had to crank it a bit more then normal, but my rig started with out the heater or starting fluid, twice.
Sorry, but I won't be buying fro him. Called to check his prices and what he quoted me on phone is twice what he has advertised in classifieds. Second time he has done that to me.
I know where a couple parts trucks are with heaters. I am going to grab one for a truck I just bought. PM me and I will let ya know how much they are when I get a price from the man. I could remove one for you when I go get mine.
Hmmm, got me wondering if I should change my air filter. I looked at it when I got it home, and like you said it 'looked' ok. My gauge doesn't indicate a problem, but I do get alot of black smoke at cold idle. We just got our first cold snap last week, and it was a bit slow to start.
