M35A2 Ft Meade to Easternshore of MD

Thanks, I will keep that in mind if I don't get anything lined up by time euc clears. Another option may be to drive it home, but would need to get it off base and do a couple things to it first.

M35A2 Ft Meade to Easternshore of MD

The bridge and highways are my concern. If someone could just get it past Kent Island I wouldn't mind flat towing it from there on secondary roads to home. I should probably check on the regulations for the bridge incase I do decide to flat tow the entire way.

M35A2 Ft Meade to Easternshore of MD

I won a M35A2 from Ft Meade, and I only live about an hour and a half away. I can get a tow bar and use my Deuce, but I would rather have someone that could trailer it. Wondering if anyone here is set up to do a small haul like that for a reasonable fee. I would meet the hauler at the pick up...

Top Few reasons for selling a deuce?

And the number one reason for someone to sell a Deuce...... So I can buy it :D . They are expensive to run and maintain, but well worth it if you like big bad trucks. Amazing the attention it gets to.

This truck is so BAD A..!!!! I'm in LOVE....

I have been watching the 916s on GL for a while now. I just can't justify one for my use, but it sures seems like a huge deal for the prices they generally bring. Your truck looks really cool!

    How I use my Deuce

The picture of the trailer was just the start that day. There was somewhere around 4,000 empty cases in the trailer by the end of the day :-D

    How I use my Deuce

Yeah, that would be odd behind a US vehicle, but would be fun to shoot twin MG42's. Even better would be a couple thousand rounds fired from that minigun  The M2 would be a blast as well. I have to stick with the 1919 converted to 8mm so I can afford to shoot it.

    How I use my Deuce

The M105 trailer makes a great brass and link catcher to!

    How I use my Deuce

Yeah, it would be boring if it had the 396, but with a 700 plus hp 477 inch motor an all the goodies, it's quite hair raising. 8)

    How I use my Deuce

Wasn't much free room in there when we first arrived. I didn't think it was possible for me, but we pretty much filled the back. We had to use the trailer for some things that wouldn't fit in the truck. The truck definitely road great with the weight though. It made it ride as smooth as my pick...

    How I use my Deuce

Good try, but Chevelle is worth at least three or four Deuces ;)

    How I use my Deuce

I have wanted a Deuce for a long time, as I just always liked the way they looked and how well they were designed and built. This year I finally bought one. People asked me continuosly 'what are you going to do with it?' As a gunshop owner, it makes a great advertising tool. Recently I attended...

Looking to join the Deuce crowd

All very good info in above post. Only one correction. The hard top is not that heavy. With two people it is easily removable, it fust takes time to unbolt. On the trailer light issue, my plan was to equip my trailers with LED lights, as they should operate with either 12 or 24 volts. That way I...

Cost of getting a good truck?

I agree with the above statements as well. If you don't have extra cash to throw at it, you may get in over your head. These trucks are all about 40 years old and well used, so things are going to wear. It's like any large truck, and cost more to maintain then a car or pick up truck. Do I think...

    M35A2 un-insurable

State Farm commercial policy here. 700.00 a year, proper weight listed, can pull a trailer, can use it for my business, can do anything I darn well please with it, and it doesn't have to be kept inside. Only downside is it is for liability only, they will not offer full coverage on a Deuce.

400hz gen sets able to do 60hz?

My reason for a 30kw was to power 2 houses and my gun shop at once. I have 18 years in with the local electric co-op, so I do have an idea about distribution. I have just not messed with the generation aspect of things. Basically I would be doing the work with the gen set that two 25kva...
