I just got this trailer. GL said it is a m101a1 but it has 8 bolt wheels and surge brakes.
There are a bunch of data plates. The body says m101A1.
The chassis says m116A2. So what is it? I like it either way
I'll get some pictures too.
My Euc went through too fast. I thought it would be another month from what I'm reading on here. Now I need to make room for my new m101 trailer.

Letter from BC at my house telling me not to export to terrorists...
I got my fancy new seats in. A bit of an upgrade I would say.
I got them at the junkyard originally for a Ranger, But they didn't work.
They are from a 2007 Mustang. Don't hate me for mixing brands, I already had civilian blazer seats and I couldn't let them go to waste.
I made my own...
It says it is a gas powered Lubricating and servicing unit.
I'm not sure, it might be mounted on an m101? or maybe m105?
So I was wondering what does it do?
This is not a cucv specific problem, but my Key is stuck all of the sudden in the on position.
I had to unplug the pink wire on th injector pump to get it to turn off.
It was a little sticky for two previous starts, but not It will not budge. It will only go from on to start positions. It is...
So my friends and I were driving through a parking lot with about 1.5' of water. Maybe 5 mph getting a free car wash, when we see johnny law coming from about a mile away, park and hide with his lights off waiting for us to come out.
He must think he is camoflage maybe? So after one...
Continuing with my tire experimentation series, I just got some 33x12.50 tires that I had on backorder.
Here is my 35'' no lift post if interested. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=20368&highlight=33
The 33's fit a lot better than the 35's but, I still...
So I was wondering about bigger tires for my m1009, but I didn't want to spend $700 on new ones.
I found these wheels on craigslist for $100 and the guy said the tires were junk. Now I figured that meant the 35'' tires were bald and they would be closer to 33.5'' tall, whish is close to the...
My power steering pump bracket broke.
I've read past posts that this is not uncommon, but I'm not sure if it is the same on the civilian blazers?
If so, does it have to be from a diesel? Or maybe the parts store can get them.
I'm also wondering if I can just weld it...
Other than that, my...
Anybody know what this huge snow plow is? Just curious.
It's an Oshkosh and the data plate says M-4-1700.
It is for sale at the fed surplus for a mere $21,000.
Hey, Does anybody know exactly what the little thing opposiet of the spare tire does?
I've been wondering. I asked a guy and he thought it had to deal with basic issue items.
Just wondering...
So I already think I have a ground problem since the lights dont work. But this is a new one.
After charging up the batteries, i cycled the plugs 2 times and tried to start it, and I heard two sizzling sounds when I turned the key. No clicks or cranks, zap zap.
I got out and smelled it and I...
I swear, EVERY time I fix something electrical on this blazer, something else breaks in 1 week or less.
This time, the starter wouldn't start the engine. It sounded like It wouldn't enguage the teeth on the flywheel. So I took it off, looked at it, smelled it, put it back in and it works just...
Hey Deuce guys, I've been thinking about joining the cool crowd.
I'd hate to sound like a little kid. But I'm in my second year of college, 3-4 years to go ha ha  , aww  . So I wouldn't get one until I have a warehome to call my own.
My dad drove all kinds of trucks and went to...
Now I already looked through all the many alternator posts, and I've not been able to figure it out.
First, we got the starter rebuilt after it quit, the same day we put it back in, The Gen 1 light came on bright. So we tested it, got it rebuilt. When we put it in, The light was still on...
Hello, this is Robert from Iowa. I've recently discovered this neat site and have been lerking in the shadows.
I don't know how many times I've seen someone say they get 20 some mpg or have enough power to peel out at a stoplight. The same could not be said for my m1009. The only good thing...
