Clutch alingment tool wont' fit new pilot bushing

So I installed the new pilot bushing, but now the clutch alignment tool won't fit inside. I don't know what I could have done wrong. I pulled the old one with a slide hammer and tapped in a new one. Can I sand the inside of the bushing down to get the shaft to fit? If not what should I do...

    Yolner's transmission adventure

I'm thinking I'll keep all my trans related posts in one thread from now on to keep the forum clean. I pulled the old rear main today, dropped the flywheel at the shop to have it resurfaced, and ordered new flywheel bolts from mcmaster. Had to drill four holes in the old rear main before it...

How to hold flywheel when tightening bolts?

So I used an impact to get the flywheel bolts off, but I don't want to overtorque them when I reinstall. What do you guys use to keep the flywheel from spinning when you're tightening the bolts?

    Does my flywheel look ok?

I'm trying to decide whether to take the flywheel out and do the rear main (doesn't leak yet) or be lazy and just install the new clutch parts. What do you think?

    Brake line tee fittings?

I'm almost done tearing out my old brake lines/hoses and I had to be generous with my propane torch to get some of the fittings off. My question is can I reuse the old brake tees after they've been heated? If I do replace them the only replacements I've been able to locate don't have brackets...

Would this clutch work on an m35a2?

Ebay link removed. The size seems to be right and it's way cheaper than the NOS deuce parts.

Maryland: Deuce from Lothian, MD to Damascus, MD

I finally bought a deuce. It starts with a jump and drives, but it needs a new master to drive long distance. The trip is only about 70 miles. Anyone in the Southern MD area with a towbar or trailer? Will gladly pay for your fuel/time.

Won a NOS prelube system on ebay

Don't actually have the deuce yet (picking it up in a couple of weeks), but I've been shopping for accessories and ended up winning this pre/post lube system for $120 shipped. It's 12v so I'm thinking about running it off a third battery that I will charge through a 24v to 12v 30a conveter. I...

Anyone else see that torpedo boat?

I like to look through the boat category on GL and a week or two they had a freakin huge torpedo boat up. Did anyone else drool over that? I giggled like a little girl when I read that it had two 1800hp (might be wrong) diesels. Wish I had the bank account to buy one of those and hire a crew to...

    Cover for a deuce?

One of my deuces will be parked outside so I'm looking for some sort of cover for it for the winter. Do any of you guys use covers?

    DC area deuce owners?

I'm picking up a deuce in a couple of weeks and wondering if there are any other deuceheads around here.
