I did about the same thing except I took 4 6.2 humve takeouts and built one to handel a turbo boost of 20psi head studs, griddle, coated piston and 4911 pump reduce the compression to 18:1 and ect.. it is good feeling get it moving and sucks second guesting everything, currently fitting up...

Thanks a bunch I got the flipped ones.. I was hoping to change out the air shocks the fire dept installed I once had 2 6.2 in the can in the back barley budge the shocks. Maybe I can bend around a piece of 3/8 on an iron worker and more or less counter sink the bolts.. like the flying nun's hat..

Dude.. is right got to have glow plug to start..if wireing, relay, temp sender,card is all jacked up make up a temp wiring harness and touch to pos side of front batt, for 10 sec intervals. motor wants to run all it needs is fuel and air and little heat.

I was told they did fusible link for manufacturing purpose and ease of assembly, also remember that 24 volt your amperage is cut in half.. so adjust accordingly.. but there is not much equipment on CUCV that is 24 volts..
Crapp now yow mention that!!!!.. I got clutch pedal from an 89 4 speed hacked on it and was able to use the 94 master cylinder on the 1028.. belive it or not it was easier to get work right than the 85-87 clutch pedal with sm465.. if had to do it again I would Lakewood wildwood clutch pedal...
