    M920 at work

We are working at home right now so travel is less than a mile. Getting the truck moving in the field is the tough part with a heavy load. Once you are rolling just shifts like a car with a hd shift kit. I live in one of the flattest places on earth so I will not have a steep grade report...

    M920 at work

I am right there with you. I tried to put together a 817 and pup combo to haul grain with. Then the 915 series showed up and I had to buy in. We are having great luck so far. I have pulled some 90,000 lb plus loads through the field on our home place, no problem. No wheel ever touched a...

    GL Jefferson City MO.

First I would like to give a big thank you to everyone who replied to my request for the real location of the GL site in Jefferson City MO. I drove right to the base and found my truck and Mike no problem. The truck is in great shape. I had to add 4 gallons of antifreeze but it did not use a...

    Allison Behind the Multifuel

I just did 240 miles straight through in my 915a1 with an allison. It was a real treat. I hope yours makes driving as much of a pleasure as the a1 does.

I am going to Jeff City Tuesday am. Does anyone know where the lot is at? My gps cannot find any range road in Jefferson City.

    Jeff City, MO M915A1's

Does anyone know if the address for the Jefferson city GL location is correct. The map on the GL web site shows it to be about 2 blocks from the capitol building. I can't get my gps to take 7010 rang road. I am going there Tuesday AM and would love some direction from someone who has been there.

    Deuce Tire Wear

I know I am bringing back a old thread here but I had something to add. The front tires on my air shift deuce had the same kind of wear as in the earlier posts. I did the toe adjustment as recommended in the TM. The truck still pulled to the left bad. I ran it like that for about 6 months to...

    M915A1 trans jump?

All three of mine do the same thing when they are empty. I think it has something to do with the jake brake system. My guess is they need to be locked so the jake will work. It is a lot smoother with a trailer.

    Topeka 915a1 pickup today...

Sweet truck. I like the round tube deer catcher. None of my trucks have that nice little tool box on the passenger side. Any loot in there?

    Topeka 915a1 pickup today...

Glad you had a good trip. I have to pick up one more 915a1. We are getting real close to harvest here so I am cutting it close on timing. I don't need that truck for harvest but you know how things get. I will post some pictures when we start hauling grain. Thanks for the tip about the air...

    Air pack problem

I have to guess what truck you are driving. If it is a 800 series truck check the covers for the glad hands. I think they are meant to be vented. Sometimes the vents, small holes in the covers, plug. Then the brakes lock. Just pull them off and try the brakes, if they work then clean out...

    P51 Pilots eye 360

Thank You! I love the internet. I am sure that is as close to being inside a p-51 as I will ever get.

    Shipping a Bobbed Deuce overseas

I can not answer your question, but I can point out that it reads, can I ship it to south america. I believe this would be for your own personal use in another country. You should probably make that extra clear to anyone in the government that you ask.

    m915a1 top speed

These trucks a governed at 2100 rpm. 2500 should speed them up quite a bit. It should also burn a bunch more fuel. I am just running two lanes for farm use right now so I really only need 55. Somehow I bet I still find a good reason to shim the pump.

    m915a1 top speed

I have been working on my m915a1 fleet for about 2 week straight. I had one come home with a stuck brake and broken axle. That truck got the most attention first. Now that it is up and running I got to work on the better truck. I replaced a air line for the trailer hook up. I put black...

    Air-o-matic install

Mine has been on a year now and works great. I am still running it with the regulator installed. I plan to remove it next time I service the engine. One word of caution. The air kit does nothing to stop kick back through the wheel. I was using the truck to smash some ruts I cut on the edge...

    Broken axle 915a1

Just got off the phone with local salvage yard. $75 for used pull out axle. I will take it! No shiny bits came out with the oil so that might be a good sign. There is a magnet in the drain plug, also clean.

    Broken axle 915a1

Glad the 817 is earning its keep. Dad said he was kind of sad to see it go. I think he is ok now that the 915 fleet is home we can get started on them. I pulled both axles so I could push out the broken piece. The other side is fine. I was at a wedding last night and I lacked the ambition to...

    Broken axle 915a1

Yeah it is a FT.Meade truck I got both of the trucks from there. The 1st that sold is in really great shape with only on fender needing rust repair. The 2nd is not as nice but it is growing on me. I think I can have it the way I want it for under a grand if I am lucky.

    Broken axle 915a1

I will pull the chunk and the wheel bearings. I pulled the brake inspection plates and smacked the pads with my small persuader. They let go on the 3rd love pat. I bet the stuck brake was the start of this problem.
