Sorry not good at pictures. Check ebay for pictures. Drill 4 holes and mount terminal on back of battery box and attach slave and positive terminals. Do not forget to remove your tools from tool box before you drill! I believe in Murphy!
You can get the kits from Rockford. Phone 815-962-1411. These include everything you need. However, youmight just consider replacing the half shafts since there may be wear or damage since the boot is torn. That is what I did. Complete sets of half shafts used to be 500-600$ Probably higher...
I agree with cyclic. Not worth the trouble to remove. I hate torx and hex head fasteners. They were designed by the people who make the bits that keep breaking. If you really want to remove them be prepared to drill out some of the bolts with ruined heads.
Regarding John Deere...I still remember going to local dealer to inquire about buying an M Gator OR the closest civilian model I could modify. They were no help and did not even do any computer research. Bought a Polaris!
Great suggestions. For future owners you might want to apply the decal that goes by the master cylinder:" Add silicone brake fluid only" These are yellow and hard to miss!
Did upgrade today. Cost 20.00. Provides positive terminal for radio, slave cable, etc. That way you only have one cable to each battery terminal. Easier for me to understand and not screw-up. Drawing included is great and dated 1986 from AM General.
As far as theft I like the ground cut off that those Military Guys advertise here. When on display this keeps the kids from frying your glow plugs and actually starting your HMMWV! They are amazingly smart when it comes such things. Money well spent!
I know we have discussed this before. Be prepared to argue with your Goodyear/tire dealer on this issue. I usually take in a TM and an AM Gen sales brochure that shows the chevrons all going the same way. The date explanation is a good reason. I have bought some M1101 trailers with both tires...
Just some tips: In last year bought M151A2 from Steel Soldiers classified, M1008 from Govplanet, and M1009 from ebay. Nothing from Craigslist, yet. Good luck and enjoy your retirement. Bob
Agree nondirectional. The H1 manual states that they can be changed to point one direction for COSMETIC reasons! Be prepared to argue with your tire dealer that they are nondirectional.
