I would think that the amount of air that can flow through the heads would be rather low as a result of the strong swirling action of the intake ports. Also, the 22.5:1 compression causes more stress on the pistons, rods, bearings, and crank. Adding power won't help those items any.

Hehehe. I was able to push around the back of a Chev 2500 with a tow-barred Dodge D600 (about the same weight/ size as a Deuce) like it wasn't there.:p
First gear and reverse are unsyncronized, but the other 4 are, so it shifts fairly smoothly. stopping distance will be a bit longer than most vehicles, so drive accordingly. Steering in tight spaces without air assist or hydraulic power is nearly impossible, but once moving isn't too bad.

I have a plain-jane 880 that has been beaten to tears. Still runs well, but leaks a lot of oil and currently has a seized alternator that I need to fix. Its great for hauling hay wagons around due to low gearing, but little else.
