Just won an auction from GL for a bunch of stuff that unfortunately included 155 Air Covers for Evaporators; unopened, unused in original boxes. So... what are they for?
Just curious because unless someone wants a few of them (or all) they're going to the scrap yard. I can't think of anything I...
Gentlemen, that's the output shaft that's leaking.
One other thing- does anyone make a high-low shifter boot for inside the cab? How about one for the winch shifter (also in cab)? It's COLD in that thar cab these days...
Is there a PTO shaft seal kit out there? The front one started leaking gear oil just before the Veteran's Day parade. I checked the housing bolts - they were good and tight. Definitely leaking by the shaft.
Dang- all I did was unbolt, slide the axle out, clean everything, RTV the new paper gasket both sides, slide it over the axle (axle was lightly greased), slide everything back in and bolted down using new split washers. I didn't jack up ANYthing. Was this wrong? :???:
I painted everything except the frame, wheels, and inside the bed. It took 12 cans of OD (Ace Hardware online had a sale on Krylon Camo Paint), 6 cans of Camo black, two cans of Camo brown, and a partial can of Camo tan. I spent about $130.00.
The stencils are the wrong size (1"), but beggars...
M35A2 all decked out for the parade. Flags all over the place!
This was everything I thought it would be. Wonderful people all along the route, the Deuce grinding along nicely in low 1st and 2nd, blasting the horns and watching the bystanders jump!
To all the Veterans a HUGE THANK YOU and SALUTE!
Hey BC, what wheels are those?
Do you think the typical 9.00 x 20s have any chance of making it over the course? I notice they slip even backing into my front yard off the curb!
Two things have to happen for me to make it down there this May:
1: Buy the lockout hub kit and install in...
Fixing your windows
Take the cover off the inside of the door (6 screws I believe). Have a look as you roll the window up and down. Do not force it. Odds are the guide that slides in the horizontal channel (maybe both) are jumping out of the slot. That's due to broken or missing clips on the...
I also had to tag the Deuce as a commercial vehicle because of the weight. No problem though, it was made 1972 and didn't need the title to get the tag (got the title anyway).
If there are other Huntsvillians that want to meet with Mr McCutcheon to see if we can overcome this obstacle, please...
Personally I'm looking for a complete M35A2 passenger seat/ gunner platform, two new front tires, air assist power steering kit, pioneer rack tools, first aid kit, troop benches (fiberglas) and wiper blades.
I didn't receive my fist cleared EUC for 47 days. Maybe that's because we're a cell-only family, but it did clear eventually.
Now it usually takes 1 week from filing to Battle Creek. I got my last M105A2 in 10 days start to finish!
AFAIK, your land line still should connect to 911. Mine does...
Hey Casey!
Margaret (wife) wants a copy of me in the cab of the truck. Can you shoot me one? I can't get it to download off the website.
Send to: cruisair@hotmail.com
Man- I'm relieved to find you made it home. That poor trailer was in a world of hurt. These pics ought to be used to sell...
Paint it white. No matter what shape it is, people tend to think it's some kind of business truck.
Gray is out- too Navy. Black is out- too "sinister".
2cents
Thanks
I'll check them this weekend.
For some reason it reminds me of a broken motor mount problem I had in a Dodge Polara (65), so drive line makes sense to me.
Hopefully I can get away with parking the Deuce at my house for a day's work. It would be hard for anyone to contact the Zoning...
So I'm driving down the road and I get this thrRUUUMMMmmmmm.......thrRUUUMMMmmmmmm... vibration problem. I knock it out of gear and coast down the next hill. It doesn't go away. I shift back into 5th and it's gone until I have to get back on the accelerator.
I stop at the house and see 80W90...
