Awesome truck. I like the HOUSE OF PAIN on the bumper. A very nice win for the MV family. Thanks for following through and getting your truck approved. So now others may follow in your tracks. Nice pics also. Bill
I had a great time. Next year the whole family and i are going to camp in one of those cabins. We came down on Saturday. It was hot. So we went and got an airconditioned hotel room, down the road. Was planning on hitting the Columbus Zoo Sunday, but the rain scared us back to...
If it will fit in the doors, I am sure it will haul it with no problems. I hauled 3 tons of steel in mine. Same speed loaded going up hill as it was empty going up the same hill.....slow...very slow...but it was nice to know it hauled all of it without a hickup or gasp.....thats what these...
I have a decent back seat in an old 1009 that I keepout to pasture for parts.. If you think it is worth it, I might pull it out and save it from the scrappers. It is gonna be a pain to get it out, but the more I hear about how hard they are to find, makes me want to get it out and recycle it...
Seriously, I need to know if I should bring a trailer to the swap meet. Will there be anyone with cargo covers, troop seats, and bows for M35a2 that will be there selling...definitely? Its a 4+ hour drive and I dont want to drag the trailer along if there isnt going to be anyone there...
I would like to see some other folks conversions of how they changed the receptical to a more common 110 plug. So I could just plug the van into an extension cord. Anyone have a thread or pics they would like to share?
I am in need of a set or maybe 2 sets of troop seats for m-35 if anyone coming to the show has any PM me with a price and details. I will be coming down on Saturday to meet jime, and to pick up a m43 gun ring. I hope to meet lots of you folks. Wild Bill
Here is a pic of my 105A2 being pulled with my mini-CUCV. Before anyone gets upset, I just used the mini to move the trailer around my property. I thought it looked neat so I snapped a picture with the kid. I bought it about 3 months ago from Sephiraqu on this site. I recently have been...
I did mine today. Got the arms from Fisher's Auto. I think Federated is the branch Name. $13.00 each. Walmart had the wipers for $4.44 each. Seem to work good. Anything is better than what they were. In doing this replacement I found that I need to do some puttying on my window frame near...
Thanks for the help with the heater questions. I may do the double heater install like Ive seen on this site. The heater I just got bolts into all the existing holes i have in the fire wall and on the inner fender. Someone on this site then "T" ed off the heater hoses and installed a second...
I just got my heater parts from ARDuece. Very good guy to deal with. I highly recommend looking to him for parts. Anyhow, I am moving slowly in this heat the past few days trying to get my new heater installed. There are a few parts in the picture from TNJ, that didnt come with my kit...
My Govt issued shovel was made by Tru Temper also. No maker found on the ax, or mattox. Mine came from military surplus supplied to the wildland fire services.
That is a good idea and worked out good. I had a hard time paying the 20 bucks for the right straps so I bought some foriegn mil surplus straps at the army navy store and cut them down to work in my pioneer rack.
I wrote to the company. They got back to me in one day with a quote. Here is the email.
