They do require an EUC for it... I've bought a couple of tons of fired 5.56.
But strangely enough, GL is now selling it by the box, too, and as far as I can tell, there's no EUC requirement to buy that stuff.
Mine is cheaper and fully processed, tho. 8-)
Thanks, wreckerman. I bought one out of GSA a couple of months ago with the express purpose of fixing it up and selling it.
If they're still offering that much for one, I'll sell mine in a heartbeat.
It's fired cartridge brass, not enriched uranium.
Combs, go to the grocery store or walmart and buy some lemi-shine. Should be in the cleaning supplies section.
Mix it with distilled or RO water to the correct concentration and soak the brass in there for and hour or so. Then rinse off the...
You may not enjoy that low premium forever. I think there's a GVWR limit State Farm has for that cheap antique insurance. Friend of mine got it insured that way and they canceled the policy 3 months later out of the blue. I've got mine insured through state farm for like $190/6 months, but...
Ok, I've got various grease and oil on parts that I want to clean off so I can start fresh and get an idea of what's leaking.
This goes for both the engine compartment and directly under the engine. The oil pan has oil on it, various lines have oil/grease on them, etc... I want to clean...
Ok... I believe I have the same problem, but I don't even know how to start doing what you described.

What's the transfer case vent look like and where is it located?
I tried...
MO MV, do you think you could take some audio recordings for us with yourself or someone else talking in the cab while the engine is idling so we can hear it, please?
I've got a whistler, too... and the big thing keeping me from putting a muffler on the exhaust is that I like hearing the...
One of the ladies at Ft. Sill impatiently tapped her foot while I swapped batteries (and that was it) on a deuce. I actually tried to weld my wrench to the deuce while tightening the posts down on the new batteries, I was so rushed.
Other places have let me come in before my euc came back and...
As far as a crankshaft sensor, I assume it would be pretty much just about the same thing they use for encoders on servos or steppers with closed loop modification: just a wheel with infra red graduations painted on it for an IR eye to count. I've done a little bit of home made cnc stuff, so I...
Yes, another crazy idea, I realize.
But could it be done? What all would you have to do?
Drill and tap ports for new injectors, find suitable injectors, get a new electronic IP for the injectors...
Assume money was no object. What would be the result of such a project? What kind of...
