Why is the pintle hitch on the m1031's "fixed" as in they do not rotate like all other cucv's ?

This is incorrect. There are different harnesses thru out the years. Pin size, pin orientation, plug size & shape are just a few of the differences.

You could also get a ford 205 that's driver drop.

You may have a non stock cucv air cleaner (lower half). I know there are at least 3 different filter housings (3 & 1/2, 4, last is even taller but don't have a measurement. If the label is still on it, it will give you a filter #. But it sounds like you have a different lower than stock cucv.

Yes but over weight unless you have a triple axle trailer & permit. Got a local guy here that does it all the time.

That's incorrect in TEXAS & many other states, They Should not be charging tax on vehicles & trailers. If they do you can contest it & they will refund your money. I have personally been refunded money by G.L.
