My glow plugs cycle every time I do a cold start (year round). How much time is needed between a shutdown and the next start to make it a cold start where the glow plugs cycle is obviously a function of the outside temperature.

It seems they are all wrong. I just opened up the lights and swapped the wires there so I did not need to cut the molded plug off.

Mine are tight as well. I had fun getting them out. I greased them and had fun getting them back in place. The grease seamed to help.
