Even a large rv will get bad gas mileage but cruise at a higher speed. I wouldn't want to drive a military vehicle that far.

Wasn't sure what to title this thread. The motor in my m923 lost a cylinder liner and need a replacement. I found one in a m814 5ton. I know the motor is the same and I will have to swap out the flywheel being as it is going from a 5 speed to a automatic. I am wanting to know if there are...

A buddy of mine puts 12 volt autozone starters in his hmmwv. They have lifetime warranties on them and he just swaps them out every couple of years. Spins faster, just don't stay on it too long.

You talking about a 5 ton or a deuce a3 automatic? May have put it in the wrong place.

You won't need it in Texas.

Mine was leaking air behind the radiator and it was the fan clutch actuator.

Can you tell us where you found the large oring and possibly a part #? I found one that would work but didn't fit like I would like it to.

It has three orings inside.

I put a straight pipe on my nhc 250 powered 923 and boy was it loud. I ended up putting a small off road muffler to tone it down just a tad.

A buddy of mine has a het and modified the front end of his truck with a brush guard. Not sure what it came off of but it looks factory to me. The guard folds forward then the hood. The lights go to a wrecker I believe. He didn't post here very often and I hope he didn't mind me posting these pics.
