OH, check e bbaayy for military or jeep battery clamps. Have a bolt to attach the cable to the clamp. hany for disconnecting when working on the truck, and very heavy duty.
I ran my glow plugs off one battery and never had an issue starting. I see 40 below at times, or worse. Sure, I plugged it in for those temps, but it started as well as it ever did.
Nope, was talking about an oil cooler for the engine. Think I might use the cooler for hydraulic now, as I have a pump coming for a pending Np205 install.
I'm going to put a new style fuel filter and electric pump out of a 90's 6.2l truck, see how that works.
As an aside, the truck is leaking or burning oil, so it has been low, likely that is lot of it. Found black oil in the snow under the passenger tail pipe upon start up, other side was clean.
I did change the filter and had the tank off and cleaned when I bought it. Makes sense though. I wonder why it would "rattle" at first though, and not upon restart?
Sometimes my engine sounds loose, like lifter noise, and runs rough. If I shut it off and restart it, it sometimes will then sound like it is brand new and spot on. Any ideas what's up?
55mph in a pick-up is about tops. I added an overdrive trans and am going w/ taller tires to up mine. The Blazer is a road vehicle and can do free-way speeds.
I've never run them, but know their tough to find. Being 80-90 percent tread, these are well priced. A 36 x 9" tire has its' benefits. Load range is "D" I believe.
