    M105 Troop Seats

I was wondering if anyone has fabricated a mini set of troops seats for parades. I have a 1954 XM105 trailer (M105) that I don't use for anything but thought it would work ok for dragging behind the M35A2 during special events, parades, etc. jimm1009

Was told to get "back-up" lights, so,,,,,,

I read a little above this that the kits were available in the classified section. Of course that was a few years ago as this thread spans almost a decade now. Does anyone if they are available? I would love to buy the housing as a minimum in which to thread in the switch. I put rubber...

    M35A2 cabin heater

Yes. Mine is removable and someone took it off. It looks like yours is integral to the box. What I am missing is the flange that the large duct attaches to feed to the firewall fitting which is also a flange with about a 1 inch lip on it. I assume that my heater box had the same flange on the...

    M35A2 cabin heater

I am missing the flange that is mounted on the rear of the heater box and the soft duct leading to the firewall and it was missing when I purchased my truck. This time of year it is handy to have it fully functional and so I am wondering if anyone has seen these particular parts for sale...

    Deuce PArking Brake

This is an old thread but I have a question. Can the cable be removed from the housing completely? If so then flushing the housing with WD40 or similar and then cleaning and greasing the cable would extend the life and should make it work great as long as there are no worn spots or torn...

Pinion seal - which side is which?

Hello there fellow MVers. I have a question and comment on the seal mentioned above. First I have to add that no, I have not yet changed one of the pinion seals but I do need to as I don't have real leak but just a seep at this time. A double lipped seal is usually used in an application where...

Clinto civvy flasher modification ( video)

Hey guys and gals, just pull those wires back through the firewall and mount the civy flasher on the aft side of the firewall or on the forward side of the instrument panel or tie4 up into the wire bundle. If it is aft of the firewall then it is out of the weather and pressure washers too...

    Air brake light switch

I know that this is an old thread but still worthy since there are many hydraulic switches out there. I just found one on mine too and want to replace it ASAP. Question; Was this an MWO? I see that Erik's still has them and am wondering if the kit has instructions for the plumbing side. His...

    Dead Deuce

Well as a follow up I went out to the parking area for my truck while I am temporarily living in old downtown Louisville. I reconnected the new batteries to fire up the truck since it has been two weeks and with only master switch on I found that the heater blower motor will run without the...

    Dead Deuce

Not sure why that window popped up but I was using my work 'puter at the time. Sorry. jimm1009

    Dead Deuce

Correct. Since they were 99.9% flat there was not enough to make the alternator work. An older generator would have started charging immediately. Any way, back on the path to recovery now.

    Dead Deuce

Well Katavic918 had it correct. I could not find my voltmeter so I put a 12 volt LED bulb on one battery at a time. They were so stone cold dead that the would not illuminate a single mall bulb. I took out the three year old batteries with a two warranty and turned them in for some new...

    Dead Deuce

Hey Jeepsinker. I am sure that others including myself would love to see those videos. Is there a way to do so as I would really like to see them soon. I have a weekend or so of tinkering to do starting at 14:30 Eastern today. jimm1009 1984 M1009 1970 M35A2 1951 M38 1946 CJ2A

    Dead Deuce

No I do not. That is why it looks similar to the master switch being turned off. I need to look at the switch and connections and probably trace wiring back from switch as a guess. I have the diagrams but since I have moved locally my stuff is a little scattered right now. jimm1009

    Dead Deuce

Hello fellow 2.5 ton owners. I drove my M35A2 the other day with no known issues. I walked out to fire it up for some light work about a week later and it was electrically dead. Immediately I though that the batteries were dead as the heater switch was left on in the low position. I opened the...

    tail and marker lights

hey peeps, i scoured both sites and do not see those contacts. Anyone know for sure where they hide them on websites? Just to clarify, these are the contacts that touch the bulbs inside the lights and not the packard connectors on the other end of the wire. jimm1009 (Jim)

    tail and marker lights

I want to replace the wiring in both tail lights and both front marker lights so I am looking for a source for the contacts and insulators that are used in the lights that are crimped or soldered onto the wires (light bulb contact). The reason for this is that I am smoking turn signal f lasher...

M35A2 wire sizes I was wondering if anyone knows where to find the wire size in the manuals. there does not seem to be a description of sire size in the electrical area of the TMs or in the diagrams themselves that I can see. I the aviation industry which is not the same, the wires size is...
