They have been replaced from the tank to the valve. There aren't any leaks in the fuel system-I pressure tested it about the time I took out the filter the first time.
Emergency shut off is reset.
The canister was mostly full, about an 1" from the top for the space from the filter.
Not new gaskets but I took the filter out last week before I added the spin on and pu it back in, primed it like in the TMs- open valve by the intake and pump the in cab handle.
Filter base is right off on my fuel tank which is in a shortened deuce bed that was put on it.
I can get these 10...
Ok, So my stock fuel filter was glogged so I order some filter bases and filters to go inline with the stock canister. I hooked up one of the filter bases and took out the clogged canister filter and now the truck won't prime/run. Is there some sort of safety feature built into the canister...
I think you should include some facts to support why I'm "all wrong" instead of of just calling me out with nothing to back it up. The strap is traveling a lot faster than a chain when it snaps.
There is always and "if" factor in any kind of recovery. It's a risk we all take.
The axle boots are easy to do. You can't screw them up unless you cut them somehow.
What exactly do you mean a tune up on the brakes?
I'd consider coming over, but I'm swamped with my own projects at the moment.:?
There was a thread on here mayeb a year ago about straps, chains, and recovery. It has some good info.

I never use straps because they are too delicate and don't last. Two chains with a tire in the middle works very...
You don't need a MF to run alternate fuels. 4bt and 6bt are excellent engines to run WVO, Bio, WMO, WTO, etc. on from what I've read and heard. Look at all the old Mercedes running alternate fuels on their diesel I6. The Ford IDIs and first powerstroke are supposedly very good for this as well...
Looking at buying either a Deuce or a 5 ton variant in Mechanicsburg, PA in the next couple months. Curious if anyone is in the area and willing to see what the truck would need in order to be in drivable condition back to Mass. :driver:
Having been in the electric winch world first, I thought it was ridiculous to have an "underpowered" winch on a Deuce as well. BUT, you have over twice the amount of cable as most electric winches and a much faster speed as well. 15 FPM vs almost 4FPM on a Warn 12k on first layer. Overall it...
I picked up this compressor for $200 from Craigslist about a year and half ago. Been using it pretty consistantly for a year. It's a 3 phase but I got a converter with it when I bought it. I wouldn't want anything smaller. Runs my drills, air chisel, impacts, blast without issues.
I recently...
I too made the mistake of running mostly gas. Truck would randomly stall sometimes as well as lack severe power compared to WMO. Very bad mileage which I completely fogot about. I ran out of fuel just as i turned into my driveway on a cold snowy night. This was actually 2stroke mix from a boat I...
Welcome, I'm the next town over in Uxbridge. Might have seen my deuce around? There's another Deuce in Uxbridge that's been sitting for years and a nice one that appeared a few weeks ago in Bellingham with a cargo cover.
