    HMMWV Overheat Q's and pictures

Today I drove mine about 10 miles and this is the gauge reading, pretty close to 240 F with an ambient air temperature of over 100 this afternoon. I lifted the hood when I got home and the fan was running. After reading the similar overheating thread and reading the cooling troubleshooting...

    HMMWV Overheat Q's and pictures

The fan does come on so that is working. It makes me feel better to hear that 220 is normal. I thought when it reached that temp it was on the way to overheating. If the fan is engaging can one assume that the TDM is operating correctly? Thanks again for the education, it is much appreciated.

    HMMWV Overheat Q's and pictures

I am having similar high temp issues with my 2003 M1045 A2 Slant Back. I just took possession of the vehicle about 3 weeks ago from GovPlanet and have only driven it about 20 miles. The engine temp goes up to about 240 F within 5 minutes of driving. I am in Texas south of Houston and the air...

    HMMWV Wiper Arm Part Number

If you want to order the blades online I found these. They also sell the original arms. If you want aftermarket arms and blades look for arms that fit a 1980 - 1995 Jeep CJ7 /Wrangler: https://www.oshkoshequipment.com/products/detail/71/3697/Wiper-Blade-11-Inch...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Good question. I went to two different auto parts stores and neither of them could find H1 arms. I guess I wasn't looking in the right places. The 1980-95 Jeep is just another option.

    GOVPLANET/USMC latest EUC times?

My EUC for a Marine Corps HMMWV 1045 A2 took 90 days to the day from the time I submitted it to GP. I submitted it on March 13th and received it on June 11, 2019. This was my second EUC, my first one took only 13 days from the DLA.

    What's your EUC wait time

Yes, I have contacted Govplanet several times and they told me that is typical for a USMC vehicle. I bought a DLA Humvee and I had my EUC in 13 days.

Request for Ramsey Winch ID and Tips on Removal Procedure

This Ramsey winch came with my M998 helmet top. Can some of you knowledgeable folks here identify this winch for me. My plan is to remove this with the brackets and install it on my newly GP purchased, yet to be delivered, slant back. It doesn't have much for markings and it looks like the...
