You could make up some adapters that would let you use their inputs for various connections.
Please don't use ether on these engines! (unless of course you just want to blow it up for fun)

Progress is good. Glad to hear you are making some.
The resistor is used strictly for dropping the 24V down to 12V to feed the glow plugs. You can always bypass the resistor and feed the glow plug relay with 12V.
If someone wired 24V directly into the 12V terminal block (diamond shaped one...
I have not looked an the manuals: Just addressing the relay I would think you could get a new 24V coil relay. Need to make sure the power contacts are rated for the amperage they will be carrying. And I assume you want one that is fairly weather resistant.
You should be able to read open on...
What relay, the glow plug relay?
You ran 12V to the coil or to the power contacts or both?
The glow plug relay should already have 12V going to the coil. All you do with the manual push button is complete the coil circuit to ground (chassis).
By "purple wire at the starter" do you mean physically right at the solenoid on the starter?
If you have 24V at the solenoid on the starter when soldier b turns the key to the start position but get no sound (and the starter motor does not turn) they I would say either the solenoid on the...
So are you getting 24v on the red wire of the new relay?
When you turn the key to the start position do you hear the relay snap and get 24v purple wire of the new relay?
It means your meter leads are reversed (electrician humor).
As doghead mentioned with the key on remove and replace the terminal with the pink wire that connects to the IP. Do you hear the fuel cut-off solenoid operate as you remove and connect power to the IP? If not the truck will never start.
There was an outfit from Israel selling complete new in the box MX6707 bases plus the AT-1095/VRC antennas on epay.
I believe some members have the bases and antenna elements as well. I picked up a set of spare used elements from HAWKMAN (wife likes stopping at the sonic drive through)
lol love it when people don't help and post a response to someone else's post and ignore the original poster's question. the amount of time posting could have been spent posting something useful to help someone that's all thanks
