I just realized I haven't posted any pics of the "new" 818's or the gen trailer.
We picked up the two 818's on the Monday before the GA rally, and I left with one of them the next day to meet up with gimp to convoy to clinto's place.
The winch truck still needs a few more bits and some...
Some trucks have been there a long time. What the "neighbors" wouldn't notice were the 70 or so truck sold out of there this year. There are plenty of people willing to pay the dough to avoid gl hassle.
I can't argue either way on the dates. Cold doesn't bother me like it used to, and I don't have too much trouble with the heat. If I did, I sure wouldn't mess with MV's!
The point Jeff brought up about mild trails is a good one. FYI, camping is permitted throuought the trail system, and a lot...
My 818 has the -A3 wiper kit on it, but it's missing one of the knurled nuts (I guess that's what they're called) that connects the arm to the shaft. Anyone know where I can score replacement parts? I think I have a pic of what I need...
I've been to Haspin the last few years, and it's a hoot and a half. I might even have room to haul some of you poor truckless types around for the weekend. (or week)
Kwai, you should come up for this one. I have a few extra trucks you could borrow.
RE: Sunday...
Where were all the wreckers?!
I think the 818 needs some detachable fenders and a nice set of mud flaps. When we got back on the paved road after a trailride, I saw mud chunks hitting the ground in front of the truck as far as the headlights could light up! The next truck in...
I finally made it to the shack after a little trailer trouble. It rolled home just fine, but I'm gonna need to find some parts before kipman finds out what I did to his 105... (Shhh)
Pics will have to wait until I recover from the 2-day thrash fest. I'm headed to bed.
Also, I think of...
I should have enough room to load the spare 1009 seat with the rest of my junk. It's not the nicest piece, but it should work for you. All trades considered!
Gimp helped me and pops pick up the two 818's yesterday and I'll be driving the nice one to the rally with a borrowed 105 in tow. Gotta...
Well, I got the paid invoice today. The BC gang seems to be doing a bang-up job, because it hit their door 7 days ago. Someone's gotta take up the slack, I guess.
RE: Re: RE: customer notified (paid in full invoice) 3577
I kinda hoped to take the truck I won in August to the GA rally in October. It's a good thing I didn't make solid plans for that.
