    The two shops I spoke with last year, before purchasing my rebuilt IP said the same thing, use the old button! I wish I had done the flow test timing method, maybe I would have had better results. It just seemed to intimidating to this 56 year old HS graduate!

    Stan, Just be aware that the timing button can be had from Ambac, but they cost $45-$70 a piece. I have found they are open for negotiation. If you call them don't pay list price and make sure you order a few "Jesus" retainer rings as they tend to go airborne when you are installing the button!

    Thanks, found a DC hour meter on Amazon for a decent price. Thanks guys for the help...... AGAIN! Yes, I think the L100 is one of the best engines made today and the Lombardini Diesel is a close second! My pyzano's do know their diesel engines!
